Starting this blog over, finding something new! This is concept art for my show idea, "Magicless"
World building HC ovo
I shared this on discord months ago, and thought it could be useful for some peeps working on fanfictions ovo. Also, it will be a bit long . Sorry about that ovo'
At first, it was a question someone asked for their OC. The question was basically: "Is there a way to learn or get magic (even for Yuu/MC) in Twst ? Are there a ' Learn magic for dummies' books ? I refuse to not be able to use magic in a magical world " And so here is my headcanon : Twst world is full of mana/ magical energy and thus its inhabitant are used to the presence of mana in the air, wherein the opposite Earth does not have magical energy , and thus it's inhabitant don't have magic...
But here comes a question: "If someone from earth were to go to Twst, would they be able to slowly absorb the mana/magic?Like radiation but w/o the bad side effects?" -Maybe , maybe not . I guess it would depend on many factors and the will of the author.... Like the time they spend in Twst , the affinity their body has with the mana (because if you don't have an affinity with any kind of magic , it's useless to hope that) ... and the body which is not used to so much mana in the air .... so it can have many side effects , like getting sick by magic itself
But of course , we can guess that even in Twst there might have some exceptions. Someone who is born in Twst , but its body can't stand the mana and get more or less sick (imagine Main in Ascendance of a Bookworn if you know about it). It can be a rare genetic disease that can't be cured , but alternatives can be found . like a piece of clothing or a magical stone that can absorb mana , sparing the person from absorbing directly the mana.
In addition, because the body can't stand mana ,depending on the severity of it, they might be magicless ! And thus discrimination because it's a rare illness that a few have. Well , I guess there might be discrimination. It makes sense to me think of it like My Hero Academia and Deku at the start of it .
I apologize for the length , but I hope it can be useful for some of you, beloved writers! Have a nice day/night !
Day 5 of TwstOCweek :
Unique Magic/Magicless
A magicless student's Unique Magic, to listen and care those who are left behind.
Which characters (OC included) would you want by your side in a magicless zombie apocalypse?
Magicless? as actual zombies and not inferi, or do you mean no magic in the slightest, and we are all muggles?
And is there a limit? I would truly prefer to have all of my death eaters by my side for this event. I shall narrow it down to just the top three OC's, then.
I would like Gremlin, Eagle, and Druid. Gremlin, because he is pure chaos, Eagle, because she is clever, and Druid because zombies are creatures, right? Perhaps she could calm them.
Nyx is the obligatory honorable mention. She is also quite clever, but if this is a magicless world, her key strength (potions) would not exist.
This is an attempt to make the ranger a skillful fighter rather than spell based fighter. It is based on the UA Revised Ranger.
Spell-less Ranger (by VictoryWeaver)
Meant to be used in conjunction with the [Unearthed Arcana Ranger] subclasses.
Stormwood & Associates: C2E35. Basement Battle (Magicless Part 8)
This is it, they've reached the basement of the farmhouse. Behind the door that lies in front of them may be Amy, the dangerous device that could end all magic, and answers to what the heck happened to them for the last five and a half months. There are definitely a few surprises they may not be expecting though. "Stormwood & Associates" uses the RPG system Super Awesome Action Heroes Second Edition with the optional Fantasy expansion and Advanced Combat Rules. View Archives and Subscription Options
Stormwood & Associates: C2E34. Critical Rock (Magicless Part 7)
In an attempt to save Amy, save magic, and maybe save all of Northeastern Illinois, the team is currently searching the farm of the disgraced Magic professor responsible for everything that's happened. It's dark, it's cold, it's spooky. And no one should go anywhere alone.
