MAGIC Monaco, the annual convention promoted by Shibuya Productions for fans of anime, video games and manga, takes place next Saturday and the event's schedule has just been published.
Yu Suzuki will be the first to take the stage after the opening ceremony, with his long anticipated Shenmue III conference at 9:25 AM local time. Exclusive teaser content showing off the progress of the game's development is expected, before Suzuki returns in the afternoon to meet fans in attendance for two autograph sessions (3:00 to 3:45 and 6:45 to 7:45).
Amongst the other guests lined up for the event are French house musician Kavinsky, whose album Out Run was named after Suzuki's famous arcade driving game, and Raoul Barbet, director of Dontnod Entertainment's latest title with more than a passing resemblance to Shenmue's core gameplay, Life is Strange.
MAGIC Monaco is free to attend, but places are limited and so must be registered in advance at magic-ip.com.
