Hey it's MerMay, have some Magiternal Merms!
I actually started this... Last May? Mebbe before that. Wasn't happy with it so it languished. But now it's slightly more finished!

Happy Valentine's Day! Have some silly Magiternal scribbles, including the character's Valentines plans, a creepy-looking Roxy, and what-if-heart-eyes-but-Ace.
Hopping on the crow-boy bandwagon haha.
Xel and Uly being silly with it.
And well, Gus and Mannie already fit into the niches of clueless mundane and eldritch dark fantasy being.
Started a sketch at the start of May for Mermay but this is about as far as I've got with it. Thought I'd share anyways before the month is entirely gone!
Decided to do a very low-key daily December drawing challenge based around a project I'm working on with @at-least-three-bears
Started off, of course, with the most important character; the random baker next door. I dunno, I'm allowing my whimsy to lead me in this, and I felt like drawing Gus, so I went with it.
And then Mannie, who's a bit more of an actual main character. I played around in Clip Studio with this sketch, trying to get a little more familiar with it. In her theme colour, naturally.
My friend and I have been working on a silly project and decided to make something of it for Hiveworks' Micro Comic Summer challenge!
This is a first pass at what will eventually be a longer format comic involving these characters. A good small project to test the waters with, though the page limit is a challenge!
Instead of doing MerMay this year, I decided to do ‘Magical Girl May’ because I’ve got a couple of magical-girl-focussed projects going on and I’d like to work on them a bit more. & I’ve been doing fairly well with working on them, even if I haven’t been posting.
This is a character from a project I’ve been working on with a friend. But I started colouring her and realised I’d just made Tom from Tots TV... The darker hair is an attempt to rectify that!
Very early sketches and very rough colours, so probably a bunch of things will change.
