Inspiration time sparked! Small drabble time!
Ford sighed, pinching his nose with his thumb and first finger. Stanley was moping around next to him on the pier. Someone in their hometown hadn't recognised Ford earlier in the day, so naturally, Stanley had huffed, pouted for a while, and now was regarding the ground with a melancholy look.
Ford didn't exactly want to see Stanley moping around as such, but he didn't exactly understand how to comfort him over what he deemed a 'petty matter'. It had been a bit over forty years since Ford had even been near New Jersey. The only reason they stopped here was to rest on dry land for the night and visit Ma's grave.
Ford put a hand on Stanley's shoulder, sighing once more. The two of them were standing on the pier that had been done up recently, staring out. Stanley was hunched, staring down at the sea.
—"Stanley, someone not knowing me is not the end of the world."
After a pause, Stanley had started to object, pouting. For him, it was the end of the world. Jokingly.
Ford puffed his cheeks, deadpan. Ford's eyebrows were knit over his eyes, highlighting his dark brown eyes in the setting sun.
