🦋🙏🏽I just want to thank everyone for all of the love, condolences, and prayers during this difficult time. For those of you who don’t know, my sister Shanna lost her battle with Leukemia and passed away Thursday, September 24th, 2020 surrounded by our family. 2020 has been beautiful and painful all at the same time and I know that it’s nothing but God that’s getting me through all of this. We are having a small private Celebration of Life event for my sister in a couple of weeks. My sister did not want a traditional funeral and she also wanted to be cremated. Beautiful Reminders
Last night while I was self-editing my 1st book, I came across some of the most challenging moments in my life that I never thought I would overcome. At that moment I had no choice but to smile and thank God for my journey and all of the things that molded me into who I am today. I think that was God’s special way of letting me know that I’m closer than I think I am.
When I look at my daughter she reminds me of God’s grace, love, and his promises. Her smile and eyes remind me that my purpose on this earth is bigger than myself and that’s why my process feels like it’s taking so long. She also reminds me to continue to be patient.
Gratitude moves mountains and opens doors that we never knew existed. Don’t let anything that’s happening out of your control stop you from being Grateful for what you’ve already accomplished. It’s uncomfortable right now, but it’s all going to make sense real soon. Do your part, stay focused, be patient, and don’t let anything stop you from making your Dreams a reality. Your story isn’t over yet. Dream Big!
