tumblr keeps eating my posts but maybe this one will make it out this time. i’ve been trying to get my messages out to everyone but there's too much to say and too little time.. i hope the office will still be here after. i’m running out of time stick together when it happens. you can use the office for shelter if it’s still here. trust whoever they send to replace me—they’ll help you however they can. everything is going to be fine. don't worry about me. look after each other.

It appears my last message was not able to go through. Hopefully this one can reach you. You asked for advice about the void, and as someone who is currently studying the Hazards of them, i offer some of my knowledge:

1- There are voices that sound like home. Do not listen to them. They belong to the voidwyrms who will eat anything that isn't them. The moment you open your office door, they will try to get you.

2- I recommend not letting the void touch you. It can cause you to become sick, and it might change your appearance.

I've also included some duct tape in the envelope. It has both a light side and a dark side and it quite literally holds everything together.

duct tape! this is actually really useful because one of the walls startled crumbling a little bit... i'm still pretty confident in the office as a safe space but i won't lie about getting nervous!

the voices is... that's good advice. i try to tune them out. i know enough about the void to know that this isn't right. the void that usually surrounds the office doesn't ever feel like this, and i've never felt like this before while delivering mail. maybe it's different in an office, but either way there's no way i'm leaving this building.

i'm not a scientist by any means, just someone who sorts mail, but i don't think emission lines are supposed to look... like that? it's almost like something is sucking the light in and then spitting it back out all refracted

What a fascinating event this appears to be. I certainly have no idea what could have possibly caused this... in fact, I'm quite curious to know more about... your perception of the situation. Have you any hints as to what happened here? It sounds possibly like some kind of distortion in space, which increased the darkness in the area, among other things? Or have I utterly misread the situation? Please, do inform me. I'm truly clueless. mwahaha.

what an absolutely not ominous message to find in the inbox on this fine afternoon.

i mean, i don't really know how to describe it all. i didn't have any information, and Curtana didn't have a lot to leave me because of the time constraint. all i know is that reality is tearing at the seams around the office and there's growing fractures of nothingness expanding in the void. not like the normal void though. the office is technically in a demiplane, so i guess i shouldn't complain about voids, but this isn't a normal one.

at the very least, the mailbox works fine and is still connected to HQ last i checked. i haven't received word back from anywhere, so all i can do now is hunker down and tape up the cracks in the office walls. i don't know how to stop the spread. i don't know how it started. all i know is that it's not safe anywhere anymore.

if there's any void specialists out there... maybe take a look at the office for me? the spectrascope is sometimes functional if i wiggle the wiring around.
