were you apart of a clique when you were in high school?
Not really, to be honest. I floated from group to group. Most of my friends were athletes so by association I was cool with the jocks - ew I hate that word. And then I took a lot of arts and business classes, so I became friends with the art kids and intermingled with the smart kids.
do you have a favorite Christmas movie?
The Grinch.
do you prefer texting or phone calls?
Texting. I hate speaking to people unless I really need to.
what's your favorite thing to watch on youtube?
Hockey. I will stay up forever watching different hockey plays and what other teams are doing. For work and for fun.
If you could say anything without any consequences, what would you say to Daysia, Michael and Liam?
“I’d tell Daysia that I really, really need her. She knows that I need her, like, duh, but I act like I’m annoyed when she looks out for me or praises me a whole lot for little things. I act like she’s making too big of a deal out of everything and that it’s unnecessary. I think I’m just a little too proud to admit it but I would be really messed up without her looking out for me. She acts like a sister that I’ve never had but always needed and I’m so thankful for her. I’m just gonna keep acting irritated by everything she does, though. She knows that I need her underneath it, anyway.
I’d tell Michael that I’m angry at him. He was really sweet when he broke up with me and tried really hard to not hurt me but it couldn’t not hurt. He was all I cared about for... god, like four years. We talked about moving away together and getting married and starting a family and then he just ended all of that in one conversation. It was like it didn’t even matter if all those plans were still set in stone for me. He just decided that they weren’t. The shitty things is that I know if he asked for me back I’d say yes, but I’m so angry. He ruined everything like it hadn’t been everything.
And Liam... I’d tell Liam how much he means to me. We joke and flirt a lot, just in good nature, but he’s my best friend. Like, actually my best friend. I’ve never connected with anyone the same way I connect with him. He’s kind of careless and casual, and he doesn’t like to talk about emotions that much, so I’ve never just flat out told him any of this, but I just love him with all my heart. Sometimes when he flirts with me or... or, you know, kisses my cheek or asks me to cuddle I get this kind of feeling like, maybe it could be something more than our friendship. It’s stupid and I know he doesn’t feel that way about me, so what’s the point, but it gets confusing sometimes. That’s just how much he means to me. But he’d make fun of me if I told him any of that, so I’m just gonna keep it to myself. It’s all silly, anyway.”

Clarke: It’s fucked up that meaningless sex was worth more to you than someone who gave you the whole world.

“By complaining and stealing everyone’s jackets.”

“I wanna say yes, but I know, like, half the people in my life would tell me that I need to calm down, so I’m gonna go ahead and say no.”

“It was great! I survived work, Daysia ordered some pizza for us for dinner, and I binge watched a lot of Love Island. Pretty ten outta ten day for me.”

“So many, dude. Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, Divergent, Maze Runner, the IT universe… no thanks! Everyone is dying everywhere.”

“Ann Perkins from Parks and Rec. Sunshine, stupid, hot as hell. Totally Jasmine.”

“Michael. I know he didn’t really mean to and he says he still cares about me, but losing him broke me a lot. I haven’t gotten over it yet.”

“The first show I played with the band. It was really small, but it started the most important era of my life and made us all a family immediately. I’ll never forget it.”

“Coffee, definitely. I drink black coffee every day.”

“Sunrises. I’m always up early enough to see them and I usually go for a jog as it’s happening. It’s one of my favorite times of day.”
