You alternate dayas when you walk your dogs, you say. Does that mean that they don't get walked daily? I mean that one dogs only gets to walk every other day?

@majam Nope. In the summer they don’t get walks if it’s over 90F anyway (which is from like May through September - we rely a lot more on interactive indoor games/training/etc during that time). The rest of the year they’re rotated and each gets 1-2 walks/week, depending. 

Walkies aren’t everything when you are interactive with your dog daily and don’t just put them in the backyard and leave them to do nothing. When they have “playtimes” in the backyard, it’s more like a doggie park visit, since they have one another, and us, to play and interact with. They don’t have free access to that bigger part of the backyard, so every time they get to go out there they’re like “YAY LET’S PLAY,” which, in the non-summer months, is at least 4 to up to 6+ times a day (before breakfast, after breakfast, mid-day, late afternoon, after dinner, and later at night).

It works for us; they’re happy, healthy, and in shape. :] Honestly they wear themselves out more playing than any walk would do, in my experiences.
