• Good lord, be prepared to be doted on 24/7. He wants you to get better as soon as possible, so Gladio is going to be at your beck and call till it gets annoying- and even then he’ll still be vigilant and prepared to get you what you need.
• He’ll make sure to place cold wet towels on your forehead and make your favorite drink or hot chocolate. Everytime you get sick, threaten to call Ignis, because the only warm foods your boyfriend will serve you is Cup Noodles.
• “Cup Noodle isn’t going to make me get better, Gladdy.”, “But it’s warm soup-”, “it’s excess sodium and carbs.”
• The one thing he’s got on lock are the meds. Having severe allergies himself, he’s tried just about every type of medicine and knows which ones work best, so he’s got you covered on that.
• On the rare occasions he lets you get out of bed, you’ll be wearing one of his hoodies or long sleeved shirts. He doesn’t want you getting cold, so he’ll even toss a pair of fuzzy socks into the dryer so you can wear them when they’re nice and warm.
• On said occasions where you’re not confined to your bed, piggy back rides. That’s the only way he’s letting you get around the house. He doesn’t want you using too much energy.If you’re cold, he’ll wrap you in blankets like a burrito and carry you bridal style, saying it’s the most hilarious thing he’s ever seen. You’ll call him a jerk and he’ll saying “I love you too, babe.”
• Doesn’t matter if you’re sick, he’ll kiss you. You’ll scold him, saying he’ll get sick too, but he just shrugs and goes for your lips regardless. (He tends to pull a Gavin Free and just makes his body “not” get sick when he’s feeling it, how does that even work??) Gladdy needs love, he’ll insist.
• Gladio will join you for cool baths, because although he knows your overheating body needs to cool down, he hates seeing you shivering and hugging your knees. He’ll dry you off, hands ghosting over his favorite parts of your body, and help you get back into comfortable clothes.
• Bedtime is tricky because Gladio will want cuddles- Gladdy needs cuddles, but he’s already a living furnace which you could honestly do without right now. So he’ll either spoon you like normal but without the bedsheets or you’ll sleep facing one another and he’ll be holding your hand/ have an arm draped over your waist.
• The moment he knows you’ve healed from whatever you caught, he’s on you and then you’ll be needing rest for a whole different reason.
