I wanted to recommend a great fic. The first part of the series sets up Wangxian's first accidental (fated?) meeting and then the second is an on-going WIP exploring how they build a relationship together in a complicated Modern with magic AU world with a lot of clan politics. It really digs into WWX's situation with the Jiangs, his complicated relationship with each and every member of his adopted family. It's so well done! And I absolutely adore the super well done LWJ POVs as well. It's just fascinating and satisfying and so well written! @annerbhp

Movement to his left snapped him out of his thoughts—the flutter of a program, or some other restless fidgeting—he turned, and suddenly Will was staring into the eyes of a man he had never seen before. He stood near the wall at the other end of the nave, watching Will with an unreadable expression, and Will stared back with the intense attempt to discern the nature of that attention—he found himself arrested when the man looked back the same. The hair on the back of Will’s neck prickled, and a shiver ran up the base of his spine to the back of his skull, and down again.

Applause rose around him. Will was clapping before he was consciously realized he had lifted his hands. He glanced at the altar: the husband and wife were sharing a kiss. When Will looked back, the man was gone.

like I think I recall that he had a gun (literally do not know if it was a shotgun or rifle? or if it even existed? I haven't rewatched the eps with the monster builder in a while). Anyway, if he also had a gun for small game (or if he does have one) what would it be? I don't need to get into the real mechanics of it - for the fic it's really just for use in the woods for them to bring back small game for food. And THANK YOU for reblogging with the offer. Which ‘he’ are we talking about? Hobbs or Will? If you’re talking Will, then he had a double-barrel shotgun.

Basically, there’s pros and cons to each type of gun.

With a shotgun you’re firing what are essentially a pack of little bbs that spray in a wider formation. This makes it easy to hit a fast moving animal (like a rabbit or bird) but you also risk having to pick the shot out of the meat, and you can probably kiss that pelt goodbye if you wanted it for anything. You’re gonna get a a very big bang and much stronger kick than other types of gun. It’s not gonna feel great on your shoulder when you fire, but as long as you’re aimed at the target you’re likely to hit it.

If you’re going rifle, you need enough precision to hit the animal. It’s only firing one long bullet so you get a cleaner shot, but you are going to be wanting an animal that’s still (like a squirrel). You still get a pretty big bang depending on the model, but you’ll also get a lot less kick than a shotgun. It’s a little more comfortable to shoot physically but you need to be accurate.

It is possible to hunt small game with a handgun if that’s all you’ve got. You just need to aim carefully. If you want to know more about the mechanics (how it feels, how to load and reload, and how it sounds) let me know.

Oh boy. Oh boyyyyyyyy. I don’t even know where to start. This is actually one of my main pet-peeves in the fandom, right after Cas being described as “pale and scrawny” (FFS PEOPLE. FFS. Have you ever… actually… seen Misha Collins. Just once. Please, love yourself, and acknowledge the beefiness).

Anyway. The legendary sass is one thing, but Sam Winchester. Sam fuckin’ Winchester.

Excuse me, have you missed his entire relationship with John/hunter life, his entire season 1-5 main goddamn story arc, the souLLESS!SAM STORYLINE, which is definitely the same old Sam Winchester lacking his self-imposed filters and restraints.

I don’t have time for people who forget that Sam Winchester is the Boy King who said “no”. Who forget how difficult and unexpected this decision was, and how the entire universe was planned on assumption that he’d say “yes”. The wildest motherfracking card in the history of everything, dear g o d. How can you find that too simple or boring?

Sam has grown so much during the series. Have you even seen him in season 1? To quote my own tags: #scarily smart #very angry #v. v. tightly wound #vaguely psychic#EFFICIENT #the original lean mean killing machine - with a bonus Stanford full ride. Being humble, selfless and kind beyond belief is not something that comes to him entirely naturally. Most shows of his heart and maturity are conscious, hard-earned ones, something gained with time and through some very painful experiences. Don’t you people dare rob him of that.

(And please, to all of you deeming Sam Winchester not hardcore enough for your taste - go re-watch s11e17 “Red Meat”. Now. To quote myself again:  #at first he is in obvious pain #but somewhere around the werewolf number 3 you can see him getting just really /really/ pissed off #’’who else do I have to kill here to get a clean bandage’’ #‘’the level of incompetence in these woods is STAGGERING")

Aziraphale has a cooking show on the internet. It started out with three viewers, but now he's known as the happy grandfather that blew up overnight. Crowley occasionally makes cameos, has dedicated his garden to giving Aziraphale fresh herbs and vegetables, and struggles with living after the apocalypse.___“Taste this, my dear,” Aziraphale said.

He held a spoonful of jam to Crowley’s lips with his free hand cautiously under it, ready to catch any dripping.

Crowley leaned forward to wrap his lips around the spoon.

Most likely his shyness came from the small tender moments Aziraphale was not afraid of showing the world. It had been the topic of many long conversations after Aziraphale took Crowley’s hand in St. James Park, causing Crowley to freeze and break out in a cold sweat. Being discreet had always been their top priority. For 6,000 years, someone would have surely seen them if they embraced in the middle of London. But now, Aziraphale had assured Crowley, things were different. They no longer needed to hide, but Aziraphale would go as slow as Crowley needed him to.

It was almost funny how their roles had switched after the apocalypse.
