Forgive yourself for being hard on yourself when something didn’t go as you hoped, or when you didn’t make it as far as you thought you would. Forgive yourself for all the mistakes you’ve made. Forgive yourself for the times you trusted the wrong people. Forgive yourself for loving the people you thought would always be there but weren’t. Forgive yourself for hurting others.

Forgive yourself for the future you. Forgive yourself for the person you are one day going to become. Forgiveness is a powerful tool & you need to learn how to Forgive yourself. Because no one can do it for you.

It was as surreal as every, to wake up next to Mav. Not unpleasant in any way. Just a little bit of a shock to the system, first thing when Dius opened his eyes. The reaction still hardwired after half a life of hostilities between them. He was sure it would pass, given time. And apparently time was exactly what Mav intended them to have. The man had even considered moving back to his big room, so both Dius and Crass would fit in his bed. Dius might not be there, quite yet, but he wasn’t opposed either, for that to be a thing, on occasion.

For now he got dressed with Mav and after breakfast followed him down to look for Cato. If he was forbidden from any strenuous activity, courtesy of his doctor, he could as well fill the time with something useful and try to make amends.
