Everything being open on Monday tmo doesn't settle well with me :/

I understand people want to go back to "normal" but personally last time L.A did open up places again for dine in, extends hours etc- the outbreak increased so bad that we shortly closed everything again because you know. Viruses spread pretty dam fast when crowds are gathered. And when people legit think they don't need their face-masks anymore.

Please regardless if your state has a no mask mandate, make smart choices. Not just for you but also the well-being of others around you. The virus is still going on. It doesn't stop just because the State says so.

My car mechanic's shop is down the block from the library.

It's 90° out today and the small waiting room with no AC is packed to the brim with people waiting upwards of 30 min for their cars.

When asked if I would be staying for my car, i told them no. I'm walking to the library and you can call me when the work is done, please and thank you.

So i'm sitting in a big comfy armchair in the air conditioning surrounded by the smell of books instead of on a crappy folding chair in a crowded office with the heat of the sun and strangers bodies pressing against me while smelling like burning rubber and motor oil.
