I tried the two The Ordinary products I got from Sephora and really liked them!! First, I cleansed my face. The AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is supposed to be a chemical exfoliant face mask to be used for less than 10min. I put this on for 8-9min on a clean dry face. I also struggle with body acne/scars so I put some on my chest, neck, and upper back to reduce dark spots there.

Then, I washed the mask off with water. I usually apply Witch Hazel to my face after cleansing but Witch Hazel has alcohol and the peeling solution is going to strip my face already. Overall the peel was really great and my face felt so smooth. I did not notice any reduction of dark spots right after but I didn't expect to after the first treatment. I think this peel will be done once a week so that I don't over do it. I can tell this peel would be kind of harsh on people with dry skin. I have combination skin so I was fine but on a particular dry day I can see how this peel would be too harsh. Still I really like how it felt and how my skin feels now. Very rejuvenating.

I followed up with the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Mineral Blemish Formula and this is a game changer let me tell ya! The formula is supposed to tighten and reduce pores. After a few minutes I saw a noticeable difference in my pore sizes. I also think it helped take away the puffy redness of my skin after the peel. I am going to use this everyday right before my moisturizer. For moisturizer I used Nivea Creme. It is a thicker moisturizer so I think it really helped keep moisturize on my face after the peel. Overall I am very happy with both and will add them to my skincare routine!!
