ALEC WEEK - ARCHER BOY
This is a list of my favourite Battle Alec moments. You’ll notice that it’s quite long but that’s probably because ALEC KICKED ASS SO MANY TIMES.
You’ll notice that in most situations, Alec is protecting someone else. He is shooting an arrow to save a life.
For those who say Alec is not a good fighter or he “just protects people”, a gentle reminder that these people might not be alive today if Alec hadn’t saved them.
Here are moments throughout tsc when Alec did what he did best - protecting people and being a badass.
When he saved Jace’s life by throwing himself in front of a greater demon
When he saved Magnus’s life in City of Glass
When he came to the Adamant Citadel save Jace and Clary
When he saved Magnus’ life again with this excellent shot

Lightwood-Bane wallpapers for the Lightwood-Bane week! They suck, I know.
Uncle/Aunt headcanons for the Lightwood-Banes week.
Whenever Max and Rafe are playing hide-and-seek the one who is hiding goes to Uncle Jace to have him help hide them. "Uncle Jace knows all the best hiding spots." They say. Jace would never tell how he knows where the best hiding spots are.
Aunt Izzy gives them facials and tells them that the whip is the ultimate weapon. She also let's them play dress up with her jewelry and heels and clothes (only them though) Aunt Izzy also gave them tips on how to get their way with their dad and Uncle Jace. Her and Magnus will paint the boys nails together.
Aunt Clary teaches them art and draws with them. Max is still obsessed with her hair and asked her once "If you and Uncle Jace have baby, do you think it will be red or gold?" Clary wasn't sure if she should be surprised about the fact that he sorta knew about where babies come from or that he thought their kid would be the color of their hair? ( Rafe loves to look at Aunt Clary's sketches and always asks if he can have one *Clary gives in because she loves her nephews so much*
Uncle Simon showed them the Starwars movies and Max was running around acting like Han Solo for a week. Rafe asked Uncle Jace if he knew how to get a Lightsaber? Jace just said "tsk." ( Rafe and Max ran around playing jedis with each other. (Uncle Simon bought them Marvel and D.C. comics, Saying "better to start the nerd journey young." Magnus rolled his eyes at that. ( Uncle Simon also gave them tips on how to politely avoid Aunt Izzy's cooking.
Aunt Lily still talks about how sweet they are ( Alec never knows what she means by that but knows Lily loves them.( The first time Lily said she could just "eat up Max" Jace kept an eye on Lily *protective uncle instincts, Simon called it* and Lily said "Geesus, Jason. You don't actually think I do that do you, bitch?" Alec said "no swearing in front of the baby!" ( Aunt Lily sometimes watches the boys and they love their Aunt Lily very much, she also will talk in spanish with Rafe and then they will look at Alec and laugh.
Aunt Catarina has let them play with her firs aid kit and has taught them a little about first aid. She has also let them play doctor and pretended to be the patient. ( She teaches them about different medical terms *once they're old enough to understand* and shows them how to take care of certain injures that mundanes don't have knowledge on. And of course, she loves them and watches them a lot as well (especially after Alec became Consul and everyone was running around and always busy. Catarina was/is always there.
Ragnor tells his nephews all about Magnus in his younger years *well, younger for a warlock* and the embarrassing ones are his favorite to tell ( "you see, boys, you can never go to Peru because your father is so embarrassing" which Max will reply with "no. Bapak is Ultra Magnus." Rafe nods very seriously to that ( Ragnor admires their loyalty to their father. )
When Max walked for the first time Uncle Jace cried and picked Max up, saying "look at you! You magnificent blueberry! You're going to be the greatest blueberry ever!" Everyone stared but felt fond of them both in that moment. And Uncle Jace is the first to say "I'll teach that bish a lesson" whenever he hears some adult or kid was rude to his nephews ( Jace also bought them both leather jackets and sunglasses so they could pose. And makes sure they listen to Taylor Swift. "She's the most valid person." He says.
Aunt Izzy swore she would protect them always. And when she heard a Shadowhunter talking shit one day (well, let's just say no one has seen that Shadowhunter go anywhere near the Lightwood-Bane family since. *She also may have had the help if Uncle Jace*) Izzy tells the boys about their Uncle Max, who is with the angels she says. She also tells them about the adventures she had with their dad and Uncle Jace. "I of course, beat them most of the time." She said.
Clary teaches the boys about mundane stuff and shows them vines *the clean ones, don't worry. But Clary curses in front of them accidentally anyway* ( the boys always end up laughing on the floor and Clary takes pride in the fact she can make her nephews laugh like that. (She also might now, after having nephews, why Jace wants a couple kids but don't tell him that *shush*)
Uncle Simon takes them to see movies *with Aunt Izzy* on the days off or the days that work is slower. He shows them all the secrets to sneaking snacks in or the techniques of how to make the popcorn taste the best ( "I'd like to see your Uncle Jace teach you something this cool!" said Simon. To which Max replied "You're both cool and knowledgeable and Awesome." (Simon did not take that as a win. He also shows them different kinds of music ( "Taylor Swift is alright, but she isn't the only valid musician" he said. And people say they heard Jace Yell "You take that back bitch!"
Aunt Maia and Uncle Bat are the most chill of the Aunts and Uncles, and usually take the boys on peaceful picnics and to play in the park. Bat has let them play with his DJ equipment (which the boys loved.
End of the story, they love their Aunts and Uncles.
