For Those who are saying they changed the whole 2b storyline to add the Malec scenes in 2x18. That literally does not make any sense whatsoever? Y'all do realize, at the time when 2x07 aired, thats when they were writing 2x17?? The Malec storyline of 2x11-2x16 was ALREADY written and shot. Magnus' past & trauma, Alec comforting him and being there for him, Alec lying about soul sword, and other Malec scenes, etc, throughout the episodes were ALREADY written and Shot. When they started getting complains from 2x07, the writers added the Malec scenes in 2x18. 

So no, they did not change the whole damn storyline. Yes, it is sad that we did not get to see their first time in 2x07. But WE ARE SEEING IT NOW. Which means the writers and the showrunners CARE what we think. TBH, I have NEVER seen any writer nor showrunner cares so much. Now Im getting emotional.
