Tumblr needs to get these mobile ads in check. I got a full screen pop up without actually touching any ad with the typical "YOUR DEVICE HAS A VIRUS" shtick. Why are they allowing this?

⚠️‼️There is currently a doordash ad running here on Tumblr that plays automatically and starts by flashing extremely quickly between solid white and solid black ‼️⚠️
If this ad does not put you in physical danger, I ask you to stay around it long enough to report it as flashing or malicious
If you are dangerously photosensitive in any way, please be extremely careful and maybe reach out to staff directly if you would like to fight this
This ad is incredibly seizure inducing, I do not even need to have seizures myself to know this, that is how bad it is, and this is not the first time this ad has been ran by Tumblr
@staff @support We are very disappointed in this and want it taken down for good. This could kill your users!! If you're only thinking in money, I'll put it this way: less people are going to support this platform monetarily or otherwise if more people are dead and your company becomes known as the company that murders its userbase
Eventually, Tumblr is going to have to notice the insane amount of “this is a malicious ad” reports from me about those darn “shapes.whatever” ads. Some of those ads are preying on people who are lonely and desperate and it’s disgusting.
The mobile casino game ads ON FUCKING TV might be the most evil, predatory shit I’ve seen. They all either have gross, ugly ai art or real actors pretending to be people struggling because of the shit job economy and being able to pay their rent because of lucky dildo casino on the app store.
does reporting ads even do anything @staff ?
I've been reporting the same 3 ads over and over again for 'seeing this ad too often' and they just pop up again right after
its like an annoying joke
