This ad is incredibly seizure inducing, I do not even need to have seizures myself to know this, that is how bad it is, and this is not the first time this ad has been ran by Tumblr

@staff @support We are very disappointed in this and want it taken down for good. This could kill your users!! If you're only thinking in money, I'll put it this way: less people are going to support this platform monetarily or otherwise if more people are dead and your company becomes known as the company that murders its userbase

Hey, I know this isn't my normal content, but I wanted to share this here as well. I wanted to share and warn people about the experience I had with the user Intoxicfox (also known as celaastraceae here), as well as what the other victims of hers went through. Same Username between here and twitter. It is a long doc, made that way to leave nothing for myself to be discredited. However, if you just want to know the abuse I suffered afterwards because of her just skip to page 18. What I talk about is: - How she made a comic about killing my character Yukiya after we parted - How I and the others gave her multiple tries to correct her behavior/lashing out at other people - The times she tried to emotionally manipulate me to avoid taking accountability for her actions when she tried to manage my time and who I RP'd with.

This is not a joke, she has done lasting damage to myself and several others that came before me, please take care when interacting with her, she is very unwell and unstable. CW: Abuse, manipulation

WARNING & TAKE CAUTION: Some crystals and stones are highly toxic and should never be used in elixirs. Amazonite, azurite, cinnabar, emerald, malachite and pyrite are just a few examples of minerals containing toxins that can leach into water. There are other stones that will begin to dissolve in water, such as selenite and kunzite. Rule of thumb; names ending in ‘ite’ are problematic when they come into contact with water. If you are considering substitutions for the elixir spells, or branching out to create your own, this is not  the time to simply “go with your gut”. It’s very important to do a thorough research on any stone you’re considering for use in an elixir. It’s also recommended to use polished stones rather than raw, since there is even less likelihood of any unwanted mineral traces leaching into the water.

This is so useful - I think about this a lot when it comes to herbs/flowers/plants, but aside from knowing that selenite shouldn’t be put in water, I hadn’t even considered what effects different crystals and stones could have. 

Which is silly when you think about it, but that’s why I’m so grateful that folks like Rocky Mountain Witch are out there helping folks like me who need a li’l nudge and reminder that NOT EVERYTHING IS SAFE TO PUT IN YOUR BODY. 

I’m about to reblog the post this warning is from - I don’t envision myself doing a great deal of crystal work in my own craft yet, but it’s definitely a useful reference to have on hand.

PLEASE READ VERY IMPORTANT-POSSIBLE SEX TRAFFICKING WARNING

hi everyone, i know i don’t have a lot of followers but if you could please signal boost because this is SUPER IMPORTANT. if you live in the dmv/dc area and you go to ECHOSTAGE in DC, please be careful. I went with a bunch of friends last night and there was a group of people there all wearing matching light up bunny ears and jewels on their face and pink clothing. One man and approx. 6-7 females. The females were going around to different girls and asking them to come to their room with them. she asked me and my friend if we were together and kept inviting us up multiple times to her “room” with her friends. I’m not a very experienced raver/EDM person but my friend is and she told me that this is a scheme people use for sex trafficking to get girls alone. Luckily we were safe and I didn’t see anything happen personally but I wanted to put this out there so that you are aware if you go to Echostage or other EDM concerts in this area to be very careful. They were especially focused on young girls(18-20) who seemed to be alone or in pairs. I can’t say for sure that this is definitely what it was but just in case i wanted to get the word out. Please reblog if you can, and if you go to Echo have so much fun but BE SAFE and STICK TOGETHER- the only reason the woman left us alone is because my boyfriend stepped in and told her very clearly we were staying with him. They are trying to be under the radar so if you are approached, just say no, get to the other side of the venue, and never let your friends go anywhere alone. Thanks if you read all this, ily all.
