So, don't tell me that I didn't have it right Don't tell me that it wasn't black and white
Sometimes I think about how the lead actresses in Pretty Little Liars : Original Sin were fans of the original series, have read the books and were excited to play flawed, morally gray fashionistas who constantly make questionable choices and add their own touch to the PLL universe, only to realize too late that it’s… Not that.💀
That the people writing and producing their new show don’t even understand the original and what made it what it was and, even worse, that the director is only using it to rip-off multiple horror properties in cheap and lazy ways, to the point where the last crumbs of “Pretty Little Liars” get drowned under all the knocked-off properties. 💀 It all felt more like a horror parody (and not even a good one) than an actual PLL show. I feel sorry for them and can only hope they’ll get to play in an actual thriller/mystery show someday, one that will be made by people who will actually care about crafting an original story and universe.
