I like unfortunate situations! Imagine a darling who only feels attraction for one of them, towards Malon but not towards Time or towards Time but not towards Malon. Also applies to sky and his Zelda!
or maybe a darling who doesn't want children, It would be unfortunate if Time and Malon wanted children.
That's a perfect way to dub these scenarios.

Yandere Time would be incredibly upset. He's sacrificed so much and his darling only loves his dear wife. It makes his heart nearly break. But he's been through worse. A new heartache is simply an addition to the pile.
He is still romantically attracted to his darling, but he acts much more like a platonic yandere. He turns more into a father-like figure. He guides his darling. He steals consensual touches that you merely view as comforting.(Time's trying to be a good man. He really is. You're just so enticing.)
He also really plays up his relationship with Malon. He wants to hurt you just a bit. He's a married man. You could never have Malon because that'd be breaking wedding vows. Oh, you poor thing. You are so whipped for his wife. His wife. His beautiful love. You don't know both of them are obsessed with you. So he loves making Malon seem unattainable.
It only strengthens Malon x Time's relationship. Which is weird, right? But Malon is slowly isolating you and Time still gets you in some way. There's always magic to simply help you along your way to loving them both.
The same thing happens vice versa if you are only interested in Malon. (Although, Malon is much better at hiding her yandere tendencies. It does hit her harder than Time because she loves more openly.)

Malon is disappointed. She truly wants children. She wants to see a bunch of mini-you's and them's running around the ranch. She is more accepting of it than Time. She has had baby fever throughout her life. And maybe just the thought of a baby is enough for her—just helping take care of other babies in the village fulfills her.
Time cannot deal with it. He will act like it isn't a big deal. But it is. Time very much wants children. He wants to give them the childhood he never had. He wants his own. He also wants something else to tie you to them. So you'll be met with subtle manipulation with Time. He is doing anything and everything to convince his darling to at least let them adopt a child.
