So i decided these guys needed a collage.

My headcanon for Blenkinsop and Maltravers has always been that they lived far away from each other and only met at boarding school, partly because that’s what it’s like in all the fanfiction. But now that I think about it, it would be much easier for me to write/research about fics where they go to a day school together. I still like the ‘Blenkinsop in the city, Maltravers on a farm’ headcanon though, so maybe Maltravers will have to go to a school that’s far away because he lives in the middle of nowhere or because it’s best for education.

And now I kind of want to write a fic where Blenkinsop gets caned by a particularly horrible teacher and Maltravers tries to comfort him but he doesn’t know what to say and Blenkinsop eventually shouts at him to leave him alone. I think that’s because I haven’t really seen fics like that, and I think that something like that happening could be a really good motivator for Maltravers to become the caring friend he eventually is. They’d make up at the end of the fanfiction, of course.

They're all so silly and the paramedics have that "Nigel, treacle." "Yes, honey?" joke which makes me asfjksfn and Mat plays the more daft characters like Grunt and Hunter and I just really like imagining this

I’m fine with historicals, like I said before , I take it as different unvierse but yeah cast fanfiction I see kind of weird, I mostly only read if the plot seems interetsting enough and I still hope their get their perstonalies right but NVM.

The only reason I've read anything including real people was because they also had Blenkinsop and Maltravers in them, and even then, I didn't read them before I got the Blenkintravers blog and was obliged to find as much fanfiction with them in it as possible or else I'd run out more quickly.

It's my only limit, real people. I'm fine to read literally anything else.

Blenkinsop/Maltravers, (HH style) modern AU--discovering Tumblr.

A friend of theirs introduces the two to this new-fangled website, Tumblr. He goes through explaining fandoms and ships, which Blenkinsop is very confused about... Ben's character: Some people ship Johnlock, some people ship Romione, and so on... Blenkinsop: I ship packages. Well, Maltravers keeps asking exactly why all these things are around, and when he starts to hear explanations about slash ships, well, he finds it's quite appealing and leads to him discovering his feelings for Blenkinsop and acting on them. Maybe they'd have accounts themselves and their followers would find their relationship really cute, or maybe you don't have to write about them on the website.
