When I looked at the actual link to my blog, the header image was missing, as was the avatar. Should I think too much about this? I've been trying different themes out. Some bring the avatar back. One might have brought the header back, but I can't find a combination that I'm happy with.

Should I think I've been hacked? Some kind of malware? Or just a glitch?

We don’t know what forum you refer to but recastbjdhaven is the only one having server problems right now. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them. So, my Chromebook kicked me off and rebooted as I was looking at some Tumblr blogs that I don’t exactly follow, but look in to and then it would not let me log in with my password, which I have now changed (obvs).

I just found a recommendation to get my book from “Book Library.”

Do not follow these links if you find them, on Transpecial or any other item. They will take you to the Download Genius torrent.

The http://booklibrary.com site does not exist. The link really goes to a back part of a website called socialistorganizer.org - apparently his socialism consists of giving away other people’s hard work for free. There are reviews of what is obviously a completely different book showing up in the Google text.

The Download Genius torrent does have Transpecial. This is an illegal, unauthorized pirate copy that may be contaminated.

Please, people. It is only $2.99 - or if you are genuinely, genuinely broke talk to me and we may be able to cut a deal. (Read for review, trade for a copy of your own book, whatever).

I’m not somebody who gets hot under the collar about piracy, but in this case there are deceptive links being circulated. I do not want anyone to pick up malware while looking for free books.

So, any links to booklibrary.com you find - this site is not legitimate and in fact does not exist and takes you to a dodgy torrent site.

Additionally, the forums these links are being circulated on also do not exist - following links on them leads you to all kinds of different “forums” that don’t actually work correctly. (For example, you can’t actually make an account).

I am sure my books are not the only target here (In fact, I’m almost kinda flattered to be targeted).

Sites to watch out for: Booklibrary.com, Download Genius, socialistorganizer.org.

If a link takes you to a page that looks like a forum but reads socialistorganizer.org in the URL, get out and delete associated cookies.
