Dndizzle stuff
So I figured I'd start the queue off with some basic dnd lore and geography from my universe.
Today we learn about the orc homeland, Krosh. Krosh was originally going to be a province of Kaelam but I have decided to make it its own continent, while still keeping the province on Kaelam and renaming it Ka'krosh, meaning 'little home'
Krosh: a harsh hot climate dominates most of this continent, ranging from vast badlands and dry deserts to humid tropics. It's established provinces at present all answer to the one warchief, a position held by Ghul'Zod in the late age. The provinces still standing in the late age are as follows:
Ul'Krosh: the original homeland of the orcs, its name translates to 'first home' or 'big home' depending on context. Ul'Krosh was established well before the early age and has been standing unchanged since its dawn. It holds tradition and honour above all else.
Driss'd: the mix of swamp and badlands makes this province hostile to most races barring the founders, hobgoblins. Driss'd has only been a recognised province and a priority on the orcs watch list since the start of the late age. Driss'd gets its name from the hobgoblin sub dialect of orcish, meaning 'dead lands'
Angol'grath: this plateaued grassland is the only portion of Krosh that seems remotely hospitable. It is dominated by minotaurs and centaurs. It is ruled by Angrath the minotaur king. It is one of the few parts of Krosh to receive established wet seasons. Angol'grath gets its name from its venerable leader, literally translating to 'Land Of Angrath' or 'Angrath's land'. Angrath has ruled since the middle age, making him one of the oldest living creatures in all of the world.
Maldreg: the jungle homeland of goblins, it is ruled in the late age by orcs, who provide stability to the chaotic government that is goblin. Its two main rulers are ratigur the goblin lord who acts as a figurehead, and kag'ard the orc regent. Maldreg gets its name from its first leader, Maldreg Ratface.
