A warm welcome
Ester’s bar was a peculiar thing. a spider’s web woven into the fabric of reality to bond it’s own little pocket. Her only aim at this point was to help the weary, downtrodden, hungry or scared.
The stipulation for this help? The soul itself needed to call out for her.
Such a call came one evening, one that had been slowly increasing volume for years now, finally loud enough for her to locate. A door to rundown inn room destined for the one in question and her companion became the gateway.
“Ready yourself Z’sophia, we have a special client today.”
She spoke to the wolf demon who played bouncer to keep out the trouble makers. Receiving a silent nod in response as the black and white shuck-like beast stood by the door. Waiting.
Ester herself busied herself until the door opened, and she smiled, a warm tone in her voice.
“Welcome to my Inn, rest your feet, fill your stomachs, and if you wish, a bed is ready for you to lay your head for a while.”
