Sometime ago I really wanted to draw Sebek's mother because I thought the story how she met Sebek's dad (he was a dentist and she was visiting his clinic.) and of course I pictured Baur's daughter as this tall, curvy and very intimidating who really is there to keep her human husband safe : D

Still thinking about Sebek and his first losses (assuming his fae genes keep him alive longer), his first loss would be his father, the human father he’s had a (one sided) complex feelings about.

His second loss would be Silver/his human friends, one day he might see them age and wrinkle while he grows older more slowly.

He’s always been proud of his fae heritage, but maybe, this once he wishes he didn’t inherit this trait.

He knows the pain and suffering his lord will face in a new and intimate way once this fact hits.

Not to mention, there’s a possibility (more likely), that Sebek’s mother will outlive not only her husband but her children. Though she will always be there for her grandchildren and any other family through the generations.

Maybe it wasn’t only because Mr. Zigvolt was human that Baul was against the couple but also, like him, the inevitable loss his daughter will feel. The inevitable heartache to bury loved ones while you live on. Something he knows all too well after burying his own wife.
