Arnim Zola was introduced in Captain America 208, cover date April 1977. He was created by Jack Kirby. He would become one of Captain America's iconic foes and become part of the MCU where he was portrayed by Toby Jones. In the issue Hector "The Swine" Santiago was killed by Man-Fish.
