Every other boxer in Hajime no Ippo: fuck my drag right
Spoiler?
Maybe. Skip to be safe.
Imagine this. You are working for the highest power of your world. Rich long family history. Pretty much get anything you want. The hottest drip of the series.
And then it turns out your bum brother. Alcoholic, loathing after his ex boyfriend and not on duelling terms with his best friend. The person in the story second to Dragon in Aura farming without actual action...
This brother has the life your mom wanted for you two.
One day, I will have you in real life.... One day....
Something something a child and her immortal, all powerful eldritch being who only cares about her and listens to no one else
teru
with all the Teru love/hate people have going on, I have to agree with both. Teru grew up as the first son in a clan of exorcists, and his mother died when he was just 13. He grew up knowing and doing one thing, and that was exorcising evil, wrong-doing entities/spirits, or just spirits. Other than that, he’s just a really nice guy who loves and cares for people and humanity, and someone who really loves his family, and will do anything for them in that matter. I love his Gojo personality too actually lol
But, even while at that, he’s awfully selfish when it comes to entities, he doesn’t care about what they went through, and their unfinished business, or how they got to be one in the first place, the only thing on his mind is what that person committed. When it comes to the spirits/entities, he just exorcists them right away.
For example, Mitsuba in chapter 40.
But, if you think about it, that’s what everybody’s supposed to do as soon as they make contact with one, despite how sad they look, they must be exorcised right away, or everyone will be in danger, or something that wasn’t supposed to happen, will happen. The living isn’t supposed to make contact with the dead, and there’s no way the dead can just go back to life, because that’s just how the world is, and it’s flow. With Teru, he goes with that flow, and he lives by it.
I’m not really sure if the “killing Yashiro” thing was just a bluff, but some part of me tells me it’s not. Yashiro’s death date was set as soon as she was brought in to the world. She was supposed to die, but she didn’t, instead, Hanako traded Ao’s lifespan to be swapped with Yashiro’s, really screwing up with the school boundaries and wonders in the process. Since, Yashiro’s future changed, Teru will have to kill Yashiro in order for the future to go back to how it was supposed to be.
It’s not really like Hanako was the one to push Ao in the pit to begin with however..
With how much he loves Yashiro, he’ll really just do anything for her to get a chance to live, even if it’s a little longer, though we all know Yashiro won’t be able to live knowing that her lifespan extended longer by the sacrifice of someones else.
