Xhav felt the mattress on his bed dip and he rolled over, eyes squinting in the darkness trying to see who was there. His hand reaches out, searching, meeting skin in the dark, flat planes and not soft curves as he expected. His eyes open wider, still unable to distinguish who is in his bed in the dark.

But he’s tired and they didn’t pull away from his hand, the soft sounds of sleep reaching his ears. It’s a cold night anyway so he scoots over, cuddling up against the warm male form and it’s then he realizes who it is. Not one to question it really, he falls back asleep, always happy to have company in the dark, an arm thrown around Ryu.
