this looks like someone who already emotionally left before the public fully caught up.
the five of pentacles is the biggest giveaway to me because this is not the energy of someone simply “taking space” and planning to return refreshed. this is feeling left out, unsupported, isolated, neglected, or like you’ve been made to survive a situation that should have protected you. in a group/company context, this can feel like being inside the machine but still feeling alone. like technically you’re part of something, but emotionally, you don’t feel held by it.
then the six of pentacles reversed makes the business side very loud. upright, this card can be support, resources, equal give and take, investment, fairness. reversed, it becomes conditional support, unequal treatment, strings attached, imbalance, and someone giving only because they expect something back. so when people say, “but she got special treatment,” I would push back on that with this card. because this does not look like genuine care or investment in her well-being. it looks like anything given to her came with a cost.
and that’s the difference. special treatment and strategic use are not the same thing.
this feels like a company or system that may have presented her as important, valuable, or favored because that benefited the brand, but behind the scenes, she may not have felt valued as a person. the six of pentacles reversed says, “we gave to you because we needed you to give something back.” it is not unconditional support. it is not protection. it is not fairness. it is transactional.
and with strength reversed, i wouldn’t automatically read this as her lacking confidence in herself. honestly, paired with these cards, it feels more like she has lost confidence in them. she may not trust the company, the structure, or the people making decisions to do right by her. strength upright can be endurance, patience, grace under pressure. reversed, it can be, “i’m not forcing myself to be strong for this anymore.”
that’s why this does not feel like a break where someone is resting and then returning to the same situation. it feels like someone who has reached the point where continuing would require her to abandon herself.
so my take is: no, i don’t think she’s coming back in the way fans are expecting. if there is public language around “hiatus,” “rest,” “health,” or “personal reasons,” I would not be surprised, but the cards feel more final than that. the public may be told one thing because it sounds cleaner, but energetically, this reads like she already knows the game and she’s not willing to keep participating in it.
