An Indie Game Dev Made A Dinosaur Souls-Like

and I couldn’t be happier. For a good amount of time, we’ve been experiencing an overflow of “souls-likes” and I wouldn’t complain if they were good, but.. they were mostly hot garbage; with the exception of a few such as: Lies of P, Wukong, and Wuchang for example.

What impresses me more is the fact that this was made by a small team. I believe it was made by one solo dev, but I can’t confirm (let’s just say it is.)

This game needs a little bit of polish and it’ll be up there with the indie goats. In no way is it perfect, but it dang sure has character. I’m adding this one to the Wishlist.

Do You Miss The “Old YouTube?”

You know.. when humans used to be genuinely creative, goofy, or cringe (in a wholesome way) on top of people simply enjoying video games rather than trying to constantly be negative about something? Well, look no further! For Mans Too Lit is here! haha 

All jokes aside, I just enjoy playing video games and I want to share and edit those experiences for others who have common interests or who simply enjoy watching my videos. I’m also a person that responds to almost everything; not right away, however, I try my best. 

If you haven’t heard about the new Dying Light and you’re a fan of horror games then you should watch this series! I’ve been having a blast with this game and I honestly believe it’s the best in the franchise.

Ghost of Yotei is AMAZING and Anyone Who Says Otherwise

probably has different taste and this game isn’t their cup of tea, and that’s ok. We need to normalize the fact that people have preferences, however, I think that’s a difficult concept for human beings to grasp. 

Knowing that Ghost of Tsushima got snubbed by The Last of Us Part 2 (even though the majority of the community hated that game regardless of successful sales) I can confirm that Ghost of Yotei will receive the same treatment; however, if it loses to Expedition 33 of Kingdom Come Deliverance II then I’ll be ok with it. But please don’t give us another Astro Bot debacle when we all know Wukong should’ve won last year. 

Anyways, I’m getting off topic. In today’s video I continue my Ghost of Yotei story with Atsu as she seeks revenge against “The Kitsune” and man, you don’t want to miss this if you haven’t seen this game yet. This was absolute cinema.

People Really HATE Ghost of Yotei?! 

When I learned that Ghost of Yotei was getting the normal “hate treatment” as all new games do when they release, I was in utter shock. I can understand hating on actually bad things, such as Kathleen Kennedy’s approach to making Star Wars “better” than the original movies with “The Acolyte” show (which only had 1 good episode), but hating on something that's legitimately unique, genuinely fun, and their main goal isn’t to be “better” than anyone, is almost insanity in my opinion. 

I can understand that some games aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but what happened to saying, “I don’t like it, but it’s great for sure. It’s just not for me.” I guess the times never change because people actually hated Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson not because they were “bad people” but rather due to their opinions of their crafts. Many people said Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson were overrated and they don’t understand why people like them, however, we know they were undeniably “projecting” because they both were legends of their crafts. 

I am about 12+ hours in or so into Ghost of Yotei and I’m having a blast. Everything is an upgrade from Tsushima and although I miss my boy Jin, Atsu is still a great protagonist.

I Found An Anomaly Photography Indie Horror Game

and every horror enthusiast should play this. This is just a demo; however, the full game should be released sometime soon.

Shutter Story is an indie horror game where your goal is to find convincing proof that anomalies exist by searching through your friend's family photo album in order to prove that their house is haunted. The parents don’t believe the kid, and they blame graphic manipulation and the horror movies he’s been watching lately as the cause of his fear, but the random events occurring in the house would explain otherwise. When you find an anomaly, weird things begin to happen in the house yet, for some reason, the parents aren’t buying it and insist that ghosts or anomalies don’t exist.

Arc Raiders May Be The BEST Extraction Shooter Ever Made

and I’m not a huge fan of extraction shooters. Every time I see cool dungeon crawler, fps, or tps game I get excited until I see the label “extraction shooter” or “roguelike/rogue-lite.” Don’t get me wrong, those genres are fun, but they easily become redundant over time and eventually, I never return the game again after a few hours of gameplay.

Arc Raiders is a refreshing take towards the extraction shooter genre by adding a bit of future technology mixed with a modern feel making each game an immersive and intense experience. On top of that, there’s a lot of cool weapons and gear you can unlock and craft. 

The cinematics are top-notch for an indie game and I’m thoroughly impressed.

Finally hit Grandmaster in Marvel Rivals while Solo Queing! It was complete Hell, but finally getting here felt great after balancing a busy work life and trying to maintain a lean physique lol (I promise I’m not fat.)
