I"m going to talk about this in other gifsets, but one of my favorite elements of Isla Nemesis is that MantahCorp would have won if they'd actually put human beings on the island.

Even just to monitor the security cams!

A human watching the monitor of BRAD-17 would have noticed "Hey. That's a water bottle. How'd that get there?" and turned the drone on a full search. The AI piloting the BRAD lacks the programming for that, though: it sees an inorganic object and doesn't question "How did it get here?", it just moves on. Ben escapes because there's no human thought. Just like Hammond assessed, they're too reliant on automation: while Jurassic World succeeded for years because of a vast human network, Isla Nemesis barely functions for a year as soon as humans start disrupting its cold, mechanical systems.

I had a hypothesis yesterday and so far nothing's gone against it:

Kash and Mae were both being manipulated by Daniel Kon in a compartmentalized operation with the objective being "mind-controlling brain chips".

I thought the chips were the goal, but Kash definitely gets the idea later: he doesn't give any speech about "What did you think this was about?" or "Thank you for your help, you made this so much easier!"

Kash was too absorbed in the moment and distracted by toys and petty things. Mae, meanwhile, was too naive and innocent to think of malicious ways to apply her research.

Daniel Kon, on the other hand, saw these two individuals and his opportunity: a guy who's very familiar with tech and nanotech who could piggyback off of the Dino Decoder project pioneered by Dr. Walker on Nublar (Kon's Masrani shares got him insight on that), assigned to the same project as a woman tasked to study the dinosaur brains...all he has to do is wait.

He paired them up and waited for the inevitable.

Trying to see if you could comfortably house a Spinosaurus and two Tyrannosaurs in this facility (Boeing Everett factory) while still having at least 60% of the facility remaining.

From the scale of the trucks, I think the answer has to be an easy yes.
