Longing for a place called "home"...

Have a messy concept sketch of my British boy Michael just holding a picture of him with his siblings! He just missed them so much, and it's such a bittersweet thought that he'll never see them grow up.

He was once nicknamed the "golden child" in the family, but he never felt like one. The constant pressure and guilt he felt from his parents' contemptuous nature sent him off the edge in his anxiety to rage, leading to a heated argument from that one night. Driven with resentment, disappointment, and misery throughout his life as he grew up, he decided to leave England for good ... even if it means leaving your siblings behind.

The Summer of 1918

Amber spent her free time reading books: her father's encyclopedias and almanacs, romance books, and the pocket books Michael gave to her as gifts every year of her birthday. She reads a lot (more likely advised by Michael) to teach her to read, write and speak English. The encyclopedias still remain first on her favorites.

Hello!! Ive been wondering; what are some of Amber's favorite hairdos with all that beautiful hair?? :3

Ooohhhh this one's interesting!!!

Amber started doing hairstyles on her own after William and Michael discovered that she's a girl (poor bb has been misgendered this whole time(⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠)). At the age of 15, she started copying these hairstyles she saw from Edwardian magazines, her new family's pictures in photo albums, or just basic hairstyles she knows. She also took her time to grow her hair longer.

Amber loves tying her hair up in a single bun, because it's just easy to do! If she ever wants to style it more, she will add braids and flowers on her hair. Sometimes she asked Michael to do the braids for her since he's the only man who knows how to do it perfectly (she is still curious how he got those skills).

For the flowers, it's either she pick these fresh from their garden, or Bruce brings flowers whenever she invited him for company and food. He brings flowers for her to decorate her hair, especially when he was invited to a few parties.

I drew these top 5 hairstyles with 19th century inspiration that suits to Amber's fashion taste. I add a flower headband as one of the hairstyles for teenage girls in the 1910s.

Just wanna add something that this is her before she turns 18.

I have this idea of Michael wearing a Victorian maid dress huhu so I drew it to reality. For context, he lost a bet and he's not happy about it.

He's still happy to serve the Humble family though, even with some funsies or not. As this dress is already humiliating him, he, however, doesn't have a fragile masculinity for him to crash out destructively.

Should I add part 2?
