Eventual Johnlock
I can’t recommend this story enough! Sherlock is sick and Mycroft sends him to this cottage in the country to recuperate where not all is a s boring as it seems. He meets John and falls in love with him, because of course he does, but John is a ghost! Except, he isn’t.
This story jumps around in the timeline, back and forth, is sometimes told in letters, and the POV changes quite a bit, too. None of that should stop you from reading it, because it’s incredibly well-written and just a plain lovely love story. The ending is amazing and will have you shed a tear or two, but it’s not sad, it’s never sad.
