Colors

Appreciate color.

Appreciate the whole spectrum, from red to violet and back to red again. Appreciate shades and hues and gradients.

Appreciate blacks and whites as well. Without them, we’d have nothing to measure colors up against.  With all the colors faded we’d be left in a world dark and drab.

And who wants to live in a colorless world? A dreary world, where sunsets are greyscale and flower petals never brighten anyone’s day. A world where candied apples don’t pop against a brilliant summer sky. A world where balloons fade into backgrounds and gardens into ground.

So appreciate color, and don’t forget to actually admire the brilliant world around you.
