Hey, congratulations on one of your art pieces being chosen for the tumblr Radar! :D

I could see Tory getting expelled and possibly even arrested for pushing that woman who was making the announcements. I suspect the school and authorities would treat an assault on any faculty member WAY more severely than throwing hands with other students.
Getting arrested for just pushing a faculty member though?? That just seems excessive! I mean yes, I’m sure the school would take any assault on faculty as a serious matter. Doesn’t one of the Cobras straight up flip a teacher or something?! If they’re going to arrest Tory, they better arrest that kid too.
My guess is that everyone involved in the fight gets a suspension, at bare minimum. I could see the disciplinary action against Tory being stronger, since again, she was very public about calling out Sam. Actually, you know, the more I think about it, the school is on some very thin ice in regards to this whole thing. The kids had already flooded the hall by the time that fight started. You can’t tell me that not a single teacher couldn’t have gotten there in time. Other teachers see the fight once it’s broken out and just straight up walk away?! THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE RESPONSIBLE ONES!
Also, admittedly I went to a verrrrry small private school. They probably would’ve just kicked out everyone involved in this fight lmao anyone else able to weigh in on realistic school disciplinary actions?
32. Who would you cosplay as?
I’m not willing to put anything on or over my face, or take off my glasses/wear contacts, or straighten my hair or do anything fancy with it...so that limits my options for specific cosplay a lot. I could do unspecified human Jedi though? I do like the big floofy robes.
Do you have a lot of experience training rookies? I ask because you seem very good at it. :)
Back in the old days I was ordered to train ‘em, the higher-ups didn’t wanna burden themselves with this task.
Got to know a few good fellas from this, most of them are not stationed in Detroit though.
13. if you could resurrect one dead character, or prevent them from dying, who would it be? I’M GONNA CHOOSE A DIFFERENT ONE THIS TIME: And it’s going to be the one most people usually expect–Padme Amidala. I will preface it with saying, though, that as frustrating as I find some of the details of her character arc and eventual death, it didn’t come out of nowhere. This was a woman who threw herself into the marriage with Anakin just as hard as he did, she was just as much of a romantic idealist as he was. This is also a relationship where they didn’t really know each other, because they’d only met like a week ago when they got married, they never got to spend much time together with the war happening, and ultimately it was a relationship where Padme couldn’t even express her fears about the Republic and ask him to talk to his friend the Chancellor without him snapping at her to not talk to him about that, to the point where she has to comfort him over it. Padme is a character who has an intense storm of feelings in her that she channeled into politics, but that wasn’t the only thing she wanted. When she found out she was pregnant, she was pretty clearly ready to leave politics and go home to Naboo. And this isn’t something she talked much about with Anakin, because he doesn’t respond to any of this, he is clearly uncomfortable and hesitant and offers no opinions other than that she’s beautiful. (In fairness, he’s dealing with a lot, it’s understandable!) What I’m getting at is: Padme didn’t seem to have much of a support system. Her handmaidens don’t seem to be around anymore. Her relationship with Anakin is built on secrecy and distance and idealizing each other and the epic romance. She cries alone in her apartment more than once, nobody there to help her through this. The two things she depends on most–the democracy she’s fought so hard to support and her husband–are burnt to ash in front of her. The Republic is actually really horrible and has turned into the thing they were supposed to be fighting. She’s probably not going to be involved in politics for much longer. She’s not sure she can be part of the Rebellion, she expresses hesitation over it in the deleted scenes. Her husband just went on a murder spree, including killing children. Everything she used to prop herself up is GONE. THAT ALL SAID: While it makes sense that she couldn’t live on in what the galaxy had become–what if she had? What if she’d been closer to Obi-Wan and leaned on him for support? What if she’d had Dorme there to hold her hand and tell her they’d be there for her? What if she’d been able to feel someone would be there for her long enough that she could regain her strength and be there for her children? How would her relationship with Anakin play out? Because he’s not going to stop, he CANNOT admit that he made a huge mistake and the more Padme tries to remind him of that, the more it would fracture the relationship between them, until it was this angry thing where he wanted her and obsessed over her, but she couldn’t deny that he’d crossed the moral line in a way he couldn’t come back from, because she knew who he was, she always would. I actually tend to think the stories where she and Obi-Wan go into exile together are what’s most likely would happen–she was ready for that, a quiet life on a pretty planet. And with Obi-Wan there to support her and the children, I can see something slow and comforting growing between them, even when they both loved Anakin and his ghost would always be between them.
@marablake replied to your photo “makeart-notsummer: protip: if you’re contributing to a system of...”
Why is it everybody in this fandom completely ignores the fact that it's the SENATE who own the clones. Not the Jedi. The fucking Senate. But nobody says boo about them; everybody's all hot to trash the Jedi, who had barely more control over the situation than the clones did. That's the kind of ridiculous illogic I've come to expect from tumblr.
There is nothing within @makeart-notsummer‘s post that explicitly (or even implicitly) forgives nor ignores The Senate at all. It just so happens this is a post primarily talking about the Jedi Order and their complicity when it comes to the clones.
If you want to talk about the Senate’s contribution in condemning the clones as a slave army, please do! Especially since the movie and show narratives often refrain from really paying attention to the Senate and their part in regards to the army at all (expect in terms of Padme and her petitioning against the clone bill, I suppose).
It’s definitely a subject that warrants discussion but you shouldn’t hoist that responsibility on other people. Especially when the post in question has a predetermined focus of subject already, which isn’t a bad thing.
Not mentioning something doesn’t mean it’s an intentional exclusion.
I don’t think people should be made have an all inclusive disclaimer to their posts so their point can be considered valid.

“Cheat.” Loki hissed, arm propped loosely on his knee, a console controller gripped lightly between his fingers. He narrowed his eyes in her direction, “I know you were cheating.” He insisted, his seriousness belayed by the light in his eyes. He flashed a smile,
“Show me.”
“Wrong Number!"
