Finding just the right spot to sleep, nurse, or do just about anything isn't done with precision and planning. It's all about fulfilling a need and finding comfort. To that end, mother bear is patient beyond belief, and like so many mothers of so many species, she even seems to enjoy their activity. What's a mother to do? Berusaha tetap melangkah walau tertatih. Sesekali aku tengok apa yang sudah aku tinggalkan jauh dalam jejak. Namun ternyata perasaan ini tidak mampu memungkiri bahwa hujan belum sepenuhnya menjadi penghapus jejakku. Mungkin sudah mengakar, atau hanya aku yang memang belum mampu benar-benar melupakan. Setiap harinya kusudah berkata pada diri "semua telah usai, hidup di depanmu lebih penting" Dan kesekian kalipun artinya hati kecil luluh untuk "tidak ada salahnya bersilaturahim, katanya sudah ikhlas?"

Mencoba menyembunyikan tangis dalam untaian doa. Tanpa menyebutmu, tanpa mengingat yang dulu, akan tetapi hanya meminta kekuatan untuk bisa menjalani hari dengan baik dan penuh keberkahan. Aku sering bertanya, apakah seperti ini tandanya aku terlalu terbawa perasaan?

I’m feeling a little ambitious this year. Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been picking up big books to read. I’m hoping to read Dune next once I’m finished with The Secret History which I am enjoying a lot by the way. SO GOOD
