STATS:
full name: wolff greenwall
birth date: 14th February 1996
gender: cis male
sexuality: bisexual
relationship status: tba
occupation: boxer
little things that wolff likes:
boxing and letting out his frustrations against someone, getting new things related to boxing as gifts because people know it's his passion, smoking shared cigarettes because he likes the intimacy of it, partying and having fun with friends, wearing loose shorts because he doesn't like his clothing clinging to him unless it's showing his body off and that's the impression he wants give
INTRO:
Wolff grew up in what seemed like an idyllic household. From the outside, his family appeared to have it all: a loving father, a caring mother, and a bright future for their children. However, behind closed doors, Wolff’s father was a relentless and pushy parent. A former boxer himself, he was determined that Wolff would follow in his footsteps. Training began early and intensively, with Wolff being pushed to his limits from the tender age of fourteen. His father’s definition of good was an understatement; he demanded excellence and accepted nothing less. Despite his father’s support in the ring, Wolff grew to resent him deeply, suffocated by the relentless pressure and lack of freedom throughout his formative years.
As Wolff honed his boxing skills and began to excel in the sport, he found it necessary to distance himself from the family home. The break was not just physical but emotional, as he sought respite from the constant demands and expectations placed upon him. During this time, the person he missed most was his younger sister. Their bond had always been strong, with Wolff acting as her protector amidst the chaos of their home life. Although he kept in contact with his parents, these interactions became less frequent. Wolff was determined to carve out an identity for himself beyond just being a boxer, a goal that required some separation from the familial ties that defined his early years.
Wolff's upbringing under his father's demanding influence shaped him into someone who is not easily manipulated. He is fiercely determined and knows exactly what he wants, often using his charm and flirtatious nature to achieve his goals. His sociable personality allows him to make friends effortlessly, but those closest to him often find him bossy and demanding. This assertive behavior is a direct result of his father’s conditioning, instilling in him the belief that he must always strive to get what he desires. While this attitude can sometimes work in Wolff's favor, opening doors and opportunities, it can also lead to friction and conflict when his assertiveness clashes with others' expectations or desires.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: mentions of death, fire, grief, depression
Darcy was born and raised in San Diego, California, eldest daughter of Mitchel and Elaine Anthony. The Anthony's were a happy little family and they were well known in their town since Mitchel was the chief of police. Darcy and her sister bickered often, but siblings fighting over petty things was the only bad thing in the Anthony household.
Darcy was an adventurer when she was younger and even is now. She loved going out and finding things to do, people to play with, and new places to explore. She had a group of friends in high school who would always smoke together and explore abandoned buildings near their town. It was fun and they seldom got in trouble since Darcy's father could kind of sweep things under the rug. Things like, her breaking and entering said abandoned buildings.
Darcy and her friends had plans for the future and promised to be together forever, but a few nights after their high school graduation, there was a fire at one of their houses, and one friend, Knox, didn't make it. It was devastating, and while the rest of their little group mourned and grieved together, they eventually went their separate ways.
Darcy had always felt like they were invincible, so to be faced with mortality like that really hit her hard. She dealt with depression afterwards and she had already decided to take a break between high school and college, but she had plans to travel but she stayed home instead of doing her plans.
It was one night that Darcy was home alone, that she swore she heard the voice of her friend, Knox. Darcy had heard stories of ghosts and people speaking beyond the grave, but she never really put much thought into it. But she could never explain how she so clearly heard her friend's voice.
Darcy's family didn't believe what she heard and thought it had to be something easily explainable, but from then on, Darcy decided she would do whatever she could to prove that ghosts were real. She bought all the equipment she needed, she did research on places that were supposedly haunted, and she went out to ghost hunt. Sometime during this, she made her own YouTube channel where she would film her ghost hunts, traveling all over America to find her evidence.
Since reading up on some haunted locations in and near Chicago, Darcy moved to Marina Towers and she's going to find her proof, as well as prove that Marina is haunted itself.

BACKGROUND
like a diamond, clara shines so brightly that is difficult to see all of her facets. she comes from an incredibly to do but emotionally neglectful family. she entered the junior program at the royal academy of music at fifteen, and eventually graduated with a bachelor of music at only nineteen. she always thought that was the path to make her parents proud, but when they didn’t go to he graduation because of a work trip, clara finally understood that nothing would. so she packed her instruments and took the first plane out of the uk.
like many bright eyes young things, the first place clara went to was new york, where she worked as a broadway musician and became progressively more disillusioned with the great white way. after a very messy (and perhaps inevitable) breakup with her girlfriend and roommate, clara decided to pack her instruments and travel the country. however, she didn't stay traveling for long: after taking a couple of odd jobs in chicago, she decided to stay in the city for good.

childhood friend: a fellow londoner who ended up in chicago.
mutual annoyance: clara is in many ways like a kid on a sugar rush. 24/7. you either love her or hate her and this muse is not really sold on her sunshine and rainbows view of the world.

TW: Brief mention of Homophobia, Mention of Abuse, Car Accident/Mention of Death, Alcohol Usage
Blake Lee Dixon was born and raised in San Diego, California. She was the only child in the wealthy, religious Dixon household. Her parents always wanted what was best for her, so they worked her harder to make sure her schoolwork was turned in on time and that she got nothing but straight A’s, which she did. She was always the over achiever in school, which meant she never focused on any romance either. For years, she made sure she was the best daughter they could ever have, since she was their only one. She didn’t want to let them down.
Upon being the only child, her father forced her to finally hook up with a boy in school around age 15. She viewed it as his way of telling her to.. ‘Get married and have kids’ even when she didn’t want anything like that. She had plans to go to college, she wasn’t focused on dating a boy and getting knocked up just so her parents could have grandchildren. She managed to make the boy lose interest by lack of communication and he ended up leaving her mid junior year in High School. She was relieved, the parents however weren’t pleased with her decision but let it slide since she was so young. She had time to get another one.
Early senior year, she ended up coming across a girl in school. They became friends quickly and they even helped each other do their school work together. Next thing Blake knew, she was becoming a nervous wreck around her. Her heart skipped every moment she was near.. She was starting to fall for this girl. But why? She didn’t want any romance.
Despite not wanting anything dealing with the word “love”, Blake couldn’t hide it anymore. She couldn’t ignore what her heart wanted, and it wanted the girl. They got together, and it was almost like a Disney movie. They were happy, in love, nothing could come in between them. That was until Blake’s dad finally found out by some teachers calling him and letting him know his daughter was kissing a girl during school hours. Furious, he forced her to more church sessions. But it didn’t work. Blake was stubborn, she wanted to stay with the girl, no matter what.
The dad grew tired of Blake’s stubbornness when she was 17, for a belt went across her face, a cut on her left cheek was enough to know he would do more if she didn’t put a stop to this man’s anger growing or it would have gotten worse. Finally grabbing her keys to her car, despite only having a permit, she stormed out, heading over to her girlfriend’s place in a rage. After ranting, calming down, downing alcohol in the process, Blake decided she wanted to go confront the man. Rightfully, the girlfriend refused, but Blake didn't listen.
Getting in the car, the potent smell of alcohol pouring off her body, Blake began her quick drive to her house. While driving, a loud horn started to blare, a blurry set of lights shining towards her. Blake was quick enough to turn the steering wheel to get out of the way. However, she was going too fast; she lost control, crashing into a tree, hitting her head hard against the window. She blacked out.
Two days later, Blake finally woke up in a hospital bed, her head and neck held in place by a brace. Her blurry vision went away slowly as her eyes looked around, noticing where she was. A doctor then came in to break the news and let Blake know what happened to her.
Blake hit her head severely during the accident, suffering from a concussion from how hard her head went against the glass. The doctors also let her know about the side effects from the concussion. She would experience stuff down the line, including: dizziness, clumsiness, blurry vision, even tremors in her hands just from how bad the impact was, and even some mental issues like severe anxiety. They then made sure to keep her in the bed for 3 more days until she was finally able to be released. Freedom again! She could go back home- that was..until her dad mentioned she was going to court. Yikes..
Upon arrival to the courtroom, she was put on a small trial. It didn’t last long because she was still a teen and no one else got hurt. The judge pitied her, knowing her record. She was a good kid, obviously panicked about being in a courtroom and possibly going to juvie or worse. He ended up taking her permit, giving her a notice to take her test again once she hit age 21, gave her 30 hours of community service, along with making her go to group counseling to deal with her “alcoholic problems.” (She would go do all of these things either on the weekend or after school hours.)
Relieved she didn’t have to go to juvie, she was glad that was her punishment for her stupidity.
When she returned to school, she was at least happy to finally see her girlfriend that she hadn’t seen in a few weeks. When they met up, the girl was relieved. They were both happy. One thing ended up changing with Blake, however, making the girl grow tired of having to babysit her in a way. Blake began to get clumsy, dropping things without meaning to, her hands now shaky without her control. Her girlfriend dropped her, she didn’t want to be with someone with so many “medical flaws.”
Blake was heartbroken, but she understood though.. She was angry at herself for not having any control on what her hands do, but she couldn’t do anything about it. She ended up growing quiet for her last year of school. The rumors of her being the girl that crashed from drunk driving went around pretty quickly, making her think she wasn’t going to have anyone to really talk to now. That was until a girl named Darcy Anthony ended up befriending her, despite the rumors that were being spread about Blake. Blake was hesitant, but ended up becoming good friends with her.
Darcy then introduced Blake to a new friend group, and they grew close throughout the short amount of time they had left in school, and Blake was relaxed enough to finally have fun with them. They stuck together, even after graduation. However it all went downhill when they lost a friend while they were celebrating their graduation together when they were all 18. Due to the incident, the group ended up going their separate ways.. Made sense though. A lot of high school kids separate for whatever reason. However, she made it known she wanted to still be close with Darcy. She wanted someone to nerd out with still.
Finally, Blake used the money that her father had set aside for her and moved away from California to the Marina Towers, an apartment complex located in Chicago, Illinois, just to be away from her parents.. Funnily enough, living with Darcy who convinced the scaredy cat female to go on ghost hunting adventures with her.
=============================================
Extra Info and Head cannons:
Blake suffers from anxiety, and she keeps a fidget ring on her left index finger to mess with when it acts up. She’s never suffered with anxiety till after the wreck.
Despite it being from the Traumatic Brain Injury, she tends to laugh off the fact that she stumbles out of nowhere, keeping a positive outlook on things.
Blake used to ride her skateboard a lot, but after the accident, she hasn’t touched it much, yet she was nervous about trying again due to the numb, tingly feeling that happens throughout her legs. Upon attempting to do so, she has fallen off, which leaves her angry.
Blake has a scar on her cheek from the belt her dad used on her when she was 17.(People will also see her with bandages or little scrapes on her arms or face because of her being a klutz.)

The Grayson household was, for the most part, a happy one. While money was oftentimes a big struggle for the family, love was present in abundance. Lance and his wife, Nina, were married a few months after Sydney’s birth. Her father had been the one who mainly worked while her mother was the one to stay home to raise Sydney and, a few years later, her brother. And while her parents couldn’t give their children everything they wanted, they provided everything they could ever need: unconditional love, support, and security. And, especially later in life, that was something Sydney appreciated greatly.
Ever the determined child, Sydney was hardly one to back down when she wanted to do something. If she wanted something, she set her mind to it and found a way to get it. Oftentimes, that meant a scolding here or there, because, while she was a mostly obedient child, if she wanted a cookie, she’d climb the high counters to reach the hidden stash in the cabinets and chow down triumphantly. Her stubbornness, a trait she shared with her father. It came out most passionately one evening when she was exploring the attic of their home. It was spring cleaning time, and while she offered to help her mother with it, she ultimately wasn’t. Not when she found an old and broken instrument tucked away in a case. A beautiful rosewood violin, broken at the neck and just barely held together by a couple of strings that hadn’t snapped. It belonged to her mother, once belonging to her mother who used to play when she’d been alive. A sentimental token, one that Nina couldn’t ever bring herself to get rid of years after her passing.
Sydney couldn’t tell you why she wanted one so badly, but she did. God, did she want one. Usually, whenever she’d want something and was told no, she’d drop the subject and move onto another thing. But this? No. She’d made it very clear that she wanted her own violin, that she wanted to learn how to play, even after being told countless times that her parents couldn’t afford one, nor the lessons that were required for her to even learn. Her stubbornness and determination came into play after being turned down. She decided she’d earn the money herself to get what she wanted. Picking up odd jobs around the neighborhood like mowing her neighbors’ yards, walking dogs, and selling lemonade at the end of their driveway. Anything a child could do to earn some petty cash, she did.
Christmas rolled around, and at thirteen, her parents surprised her with her very first violin, as well as signing her up for half a year's worth of lessons. Perhaps the fact that she’d been so set on getting one over the past couple of years was the determining factor for them to change their minds. She’d been so giddy, she couldn’t wait for her first lesson. After several lessons and constant practice, it was clear she was developing both a talent and passion for it.
At fifteen, however, everything was put on the back burner. Lance had fallen ill. It was gradual at first, but even as things got worse for him, Lance never went to the doctor. Unexplained weight loss, fatigue, a nagging cough and bouts of dizziness were the first signs that something was wrong. It wasn’t until he’d passed out after a particularly nasty coughing spell did they go to the doctor and… He had lung cancer. What followed was probably one of the most difficult points in time for the Grayson family.
The one who took it hardest, other than Lance, was Sydney. While she was close with her family, her father was her whole world. He’d been her best friend growing up, and she was fearful of what the future could hold.
At an early enough stage to fight it, plans were made to undergo chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the toll from both the disease and constantly feeling sick from the medication, Lance was in no way shape or form fit to work. And with him having been the sole breadwinner of the family, that role quickly split between both Nina and Sydney. The brunt of the responsibility, obviously, fell on Nina, who ended up taking up two jobs, whereas Sydney ended up working at the local diner. Between trying to stay on top of schoolwork, helping around the house and working, her pursuit of music had been momentarily forgotten. She didn’t have time or the energy to keep up with everything all at once.
Fortunately, after months, the treatments and surgeries provided some semblance of reassurance to the family. Once her father felt well enough to start working again, the next couple of years with him being in remission was a blessing. Each and every day. After he had gotten better, Sydney was able to slow down a little. She didn’t quit her job at the diner, but she also didn’t have to put so much energy into helping out financially. She was able to pick up the violin again and play a bit more consistently.
The beginning of senior year came around, and Sydney began to notice that there’d been a constant ringing in her ear. She also found that certain things, like when someone would whisper to her in class or low-pitched noises, she couldn’t quite catch the way she used to. Perhaps it was something that was because of her listening to music too loud or something, she figured.
Growing up, Sydney was, and still is, the type to see the absolute best in everyone. In everything. Not one to listen to idle gossip or small-town rumors, she preferred to form her own opinions. And one of the town pariahs was no exception. Jameson Cassidy. They’d pass each other in the halls on occasion, and she heard whispers about the troubled youth. There was more than meets the eye with him, she was certain. When he’d been lacking in a particular subject, she offered to help and tutor him. This put the two of them in direct contact with one another often. And, just as she had suspected, he wasn’t the bad seed everyone was making him out to be. Yes, he was troubled, but the poor guy, given his family history, had been through it. Where she was trying to reach out and be a good friend to someone who needed one, something unexpected happened: the two fell for one another. The budding romance between the two youths blindsided her, though it was hardly unwelcome.
She stuck by him through thick and thin. Unfortunately, good things don’t seem to last. Not only did her father’s cancer come back, but things seemed to be falling apart in Jameson’s world. And, to top that off, her hearing loss had grown worse. Now, sounds were muffled, and she had to concentrate to keep up with simple conversations, especially in large groups. And when she and Jameson got pregnant, the symptoms grew worse. After several doctor visits and tests, she learned that she had otosclerosis.
Not only did she have to navigate life with Jameson, now her husband< in prison, raising their daughter mostly on her own, but she also had to juggle the aftermath of her hearing loss.
For the first couple of years, she made sure to visit Jameson in prison, especially after she had Emma. Because he deserved to meet his daughter. But with the ever-growing distance between the two and his insistence for her to stop coming, she eventually did just that. She hated not being able to visit, but he was clear in his desire for her to stop coming. It stung, but she respected his wishes regardless.

( taylor russell. cis woman . she/her) - the chicago resident , ( kalina slater-horne ) , was heard blaring ( hammer horror/kate bush ) this morning . the ( twenty five) year old is a ( true crime podcaster ) in the city & has lived the ( west ) tower for ( six months ) . since being here , they have been told to be ( shy ) , but also ( enthusiastic ) , i guess we'll find out soon !
tw :Death, Eating Disorder, Depression, Murder
Born in San Francisco as the only child of Lenora and Michael Slater, Kalina’s life started out like everyone else’s but would grow to be a little scary at times. From a very young age, Kalina loved to be scared. Her mother had been an artist and photographer who had instilled a love of the strange and unusual with her daughter which the young future horror fan gravitated to. She remembers getting her first book of poems by Edgar Allen Poe, the first time she peaked behind the blankets watching a slasher, or the first time she saw her first ever crush Elvira mix humor and horror to great effect. All of these were things that had inspired her greatly.
While she had been shy in school Kalina was able to turn into a far more introverted and outspoken person when it came to horror. It was that one niche that she knew everything about and could out do anyone knowledge wise about the genre. She knew she wanted to follow her mothers footsteps and do something creative that was also a little bit scary too. In many ways horror became a security blanket when others were cruel. It was hard at times to want to hang out with others who saw you as the weird girl; especially when they began pick on her because she didn’t seem to fit in with other kids in her grade. The more people we’re cruel to her the more she tried to ignore them. Her hobbies were a security blanket that only grew to protect her further once her mother died.
With her mother gone, Kalina started to lean into a more realistic horror; true crime . Her father was trying to protect Kalina and had tried to keep the reason her mother had died from her, but Kalina was a very inquisitive young woman and discovered her mother had been murdered and no one knew who had done it. San Francisco was a large city and one that seemed to have more and more people pass through daily. It was the fact that things had been a mystery that sent Kalina down a rabbit hole that followed her into adulthood.
She began to fixate on unsolved mysteries and murders and just wanted to find answers that she never got from her own mothers death. But as the longer time went on the more she began to alienate herself from other people. She started to not even notice the way people would bully her in school or the fact that her own father was dating someone again. She just wanted to focus on her hobbies because it kept her safe from dealing with the reality that she wasn’t coping with her mothers loss well. The more she’d research the less she’d sleep or eat or really do anything other than try to solve what happened to her mom. Eventually, her father had to step in and seek out help in order for Kalina to get better. On some level her fathers involvement helped more than anything because it revealed how much he had also been hurting from the death of her mother. They were able to be more open and bond again and soon Kalina was able to accept that there had been changes to her life and was able to finally leave home and move to Chicago to save up for school.
While things were looking up for Kalina, one thing remained. Her love of the macabre. Horror and true crime were deep within her bones and as she reached college age and began to figure out what she wanted to do in life, a life in horror was the only option. The scary and spooky never strayed too far from her heart. It was something that still tied her to her mother and as she matured and reached her twenties Kalina knew exactly what she wanted in life. She wanted to help bring a light to the unsolved crimes of the world. She wanted to see if anyone else could help her solve her mother’s murder. She knows it’s not much yet, but it’s the first step in her other life goal of saving up enough money to be able to go back to school and study criminology. While still incredibly shy in her day to day life, Kalinas star shines bright when others watch her as the scream queen and talk about unsolved mysteries. A confidence and self assured woman is slowly starting to emerge from the ashes of her personal tragedy.

tw: drugs, death, abuse, murder
Jameson Cassidy never really got a fair shot in life and where he is now proved that he never really had a chance. Born to an incredibly dysfunctional family, Jameson didn’t know peace for most of his early years. His parents were in and out of jail for various illegal activities and much of the toxic environment was brought home to the young Jameson and his younger sister. The pair were often removed from their parents care and placed in the home of their aunt while the parents were either serving time or in rehab. Eventually, their behavior caught up with them resulting in his parents death’s while Jameson was still rather young. The siblings were then placed in the permanent care of their aunt.
While his homelife had improved considerably and was filled with love, the reputation of their parents followed them wherever they went. Even half of Chicago had been privy to the world Jameson and his sister had been subjected to when they were younger. It was like a scarlet letter that followed them no matter how much time had passed. It also didn’t help that as soon as Jameson hit puberty he started to act out himself. His circumstances may have been better, but the damage had already been done. It started small with taking things that weren’t his and being caught underage drinking. Then it escalated into stealing larger things, vandalism, and getting into fights. His aunt tried to help him the best she could, but it seemed like Jameson was heading down the same path as his parents despite how good things were becoming. There was a small silver lining though that kicked off what Jameson believed to be a change for the better
It seemed like a cliche for Jameson at first but he began to realize that love would save the day. He was actually incredibly bright but never wanted to apply himself in school. It was why he had found himself getting tutoring for a subject he knew but didn’t apply himself in. It was also how he met someone who would change his life. His tutor had been someone he had always seen in passing but never have a second glance at because he just didn’t think they existed in the same worlds, but she knew of him and didn’t think there was really a bad bone in his body. Just someone who had survived a lot and needed someone to give him a chance. It was that kind of care that made Jameson begin to fall in love with her.
If people had an image of him why should he prove them wrong if he knew deep down their mind had been already made up. Or at least that was what he thought at first, but from the moment of their first session Jameson realized not everyone had the same idea about him. He started to apply himself more and eventually brought his grades up enough to finish high school while also giving him the urge to pursue higher education. Jameson had always been good with his hands. He could fix anything that was in front of him and often found himself picking up shifts at the local garage. He knew if he just applied himself like he had done previously he might be able to work his way into a school to become and engineer. All through that time he had the support of his aunt, sister and now his girlfriend. He was going to make something of his life and try to ignore those who seemed to take issue with him. He was going to save up for school but also save up to propose to his girlfriend and the loud voices of a few couldn’t deter him.
Jameson wasn’t a fool though. He knew plenty of people had a good reason to dislike him. He was irresponsible and had a history of trouble. A history that sometimes still blended into the present and try as he might he couldn’t shake the sins of his past or his parents. He just wanted a shot to make something of himself. However, when a series of incidents started to happen in town, all fingers pointed to Jameson, even though for the first time it wasn’t him. He was being set up to take the fall for someone else. Who would ever believe he was innocent this time? Public opinion started to turn on Jameson again, but he wasn’t going to let it sit and rot away his progress. He began to work with his girlfriend to figure out who it was until it had been someone who had taken an issue with this new leaf he was turning over. It had been one of his friends who had been setting him up and essential blackmailing him. They were hoping Jameson would take the heat off of him for having a not so stellar past. Jameson was unsure how to react other than feeling hurt that his trust in someone had been broken. He also knew if he went to the cops about his friend no one would believe him as they were someone who was well liked in town and knew he’d get away with the lie
At the revelation; Jameson went off to find them and the pair got into a huge physical altercation. Jameson could have used his words or reported him to the police but he knew it wouldn’t do him any good. Unfortunately, the situation escalated and while they fought, Jameson’s opponent had slipped and fallen high and hard enough to break his neck. That moment Jameson’s whole future came crashing down. His college aspirations, his relationships, and his freedom.
Jameson spent the next few years in and out of court and jail trying to prove it had been an accident, and while he was ultimately charged with manslaughter he knew whatever good faith he had gained from trying to better himself had been destroyed that night. He blames himself for everything that night and wishes he could go back and fix things. It wouldn’t have fixed everything but he knew he should have just done something different. It cost him five years of his life even though the sentence had been 10 years . Fearing the worst, Jameson married his girlfriend to make sure the prison wouldn’t try to come up with a reason to keep them apart, the union had resulted in the birth of his daughter Emma who he hasn’t been able to get to know that much since he’d been incarcerated.
Now that he’s been released, Jameson tends to keep to himself. His small social circle is even smaller now that he’s become more reclusive and he’s someone who could be found mostly working on cars or reading by himself in a quiet place. He’s wary of old friends because he’s not sure what they knew or if they knew anything and if he is social; he takes a while to come out of his shell. He also has been avoiding his wife like the plague because he’s scared he has nothing to offer her anymore and believes that he wouldn’t be given another chance. However he’s still in love with her. Jameson also isn’t sure if he should insert himself back in her life or not. In the end he knows he’s in a strange sort of limbo and hopes that there are people who saw beyond what had happened and know he’s trying his best to stay out of trouble and live his family name down once and for all.
