My Healthy Roots dolls, Zoe and Marivel, dressed to impress with handmade Kwanzaa looks :)
Tonight Claudie and Marivel are celebrating the sixth night of Kwanzaa. Claudie is especially excited, because she time traveled to celebrate.
“Habari gani, Claudie?” Asks Marivel
“Kuumba!” Exclaims Claudie. “Kuumba is Swahili for creativity. This principle means to always strive to make our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it. So improving things for the next generation.”
“Tomorrow we’ll give handmade gifts that we made using our creativity.” Says Marivel
Both Marivel and Claudie wish all who celebrate a very joyous Kwanzaa!!
