If you’ve been around here long enough you know I’ve had my work stolen and posted to Instagram. It’s horrible, it’s violating, and it’s frustrating as shit. Tumblr as a reblog site is supposed to be a place that doesn’t flourish- so do your diligence when you reblog, and if something feels wrong, CHECK

i’ve seen a whooooole lot of people going on abt how “stucky stans just wanna make steve’s ending all abt bucky” and “steve is allowed to be selfish!” and “bucky is his own person, he doesn’t need steve!” and basically accusing stucky fans of being Fake Steve Stans(tm) which, yeah, sure, some people probs do that, idk, and i honestly wasn’t gonna say anything if it hadn’t been for a couple of incredibly fucking rude anons in my inbox today (if you five are reading this: fuck you for coming at me with antisemitism and transphobia over a fucking movie series!)
so lemme explain (under the read more) why i fucking hate steve’s ending with my entire fucking heart and soul:
I have known my best friend, klara, since we were nine years old, alright - now those of you who are good at math have already figured this out but to those who are a bit like me, that’s coming up on ffifteen years. she’s been with me through my depression, my coming out as bisexual, my discovery of being transgender, she was there for me when i was raped by someone we both called friend, she is my biggest supporter, my closest confidante - and the feeling is mutual! we know everything about each other, have been with each other through so much crap, and today, we live in different countries - and i hate that! i miss her so fucking much all the time and i am so lonely without her - i can only live with this bc of modern technology!
i cannot fathom a world where i could ever abandon her for someone i was in love with years ago! losing klara is one of my deepest fears because i love her so fucking much - and i can’t imagine a world where i would be chill with her, leaving me for someone she was in love with years ago!
so how can you expect me to accept that steve and bucky, who have known each other for at least as long as i and klara, who have been through so much shit together, would be chill with never seeing each other again? that steve would leave bucky, his best friend since childhood, for a woman that he was kinda in love with, like, seven years ago?? really???
it’s not about the sMeXY YaoI sExxxx!!!! or steve needs to be selfless always and forever or some bullshit like that - it’s abt the fact that steve was (canonically) shattered when bucky died, and that they had so much love (platonic or romantic) and loyalty for each other, that just seeing steve made bucky start to break through seventy years of torture, conditioning, and brainwashing, and yet y’all still want me to believe that steve would willingly leave bucky in the future so he could go back in time and live the Nuclear Family Life???? come the fuck on
