I just watched Mark Snow and orchesta playing songs from the two The X-Files movies, and then I suddenly burst into tears with the song from I want to believe.

I always love to see the kiss scene in front of the unremarkable house, it must be the only time I see Mulder and Scully are that happy together (aside from the last scene in Existence), entirely, without awkwardness or platonic things. That scene is the clearest picture of what MSR should have been and will always be. And the music, everytime I hear it, it’ll remind me of that scene.

I didn’t cry when I watched that scene several times before. But just now when I hear that music, after season 10 closed, I cry because don’t know what Chris have done with Mulder and Scully’s relationship in here. I’m sad for them, sad for the way Chris treated them, treated us fans. They don’t deserve to be treated so cruel like this. Why all of a sudden, they broke up, for no acceptable reasons? Why after almost 20 years of love and trust and suffers and never give up, they just... gave up? Where are “Even when the world was falling apart, you were my constant, my touchstone. // And you are mine” and “Until then, I remain forever yours”?
