Alpha sending his "wolves" to rescue his long distance Omega husband and their new adopted subadult wolf.
Also my friend and I suspect it might be Sherry who contacted Chris for help because the only one who knows Leon's exact location 24/7 is Sherry, who was acting as his handler. As soon as Sherry called and sent Chris the location, Chris sent the wolves to the rescue right away.

"So, Becca, how's that academic life treating you? Chris asked the woman sat opposite him.
He, Rebecca and Jill grabbed lunch at the local diner. They could calmly enjoy their meal, which was surprising, considering today was Friday and usually at this time, the rush was crazy.
They decided to go out for lunch and treat Rebecca to their favorite spot in town, where they could eat really good food that wouldn't cost them an arm and a leg. They left all the Michelin star restaurants for other times. Now was the time for the good ol' mom & pop diner, to remind them of their S.T.A.R.S. days. To send them in time to the long evenings spent over cheap beer and greasy fries.
"Thanks for asking, Chris, my academic life is good. Always doing something interesting. You know." she reached for one of her crispy onion-rings. "However, my private life is suffering." She sighed, before she took a long sip of her strawberry milkshake.
"How so?"Jill inquired, at the same time slapping Chris's hand away from her golden fries.
"Let's see... All my dear friends are living on the other side of the country, so seeing them as frequently as I would like to is impossible." Rebecca looked straight at them and stuck her fork into boneless chicken wing. Her eyes never left them, to build up the guilt-tripping. Both Chris and Jill glanced at each other, ashamed. Rebecca's tactics worked really well, she knew perfectly what she was doing, as the other two squirmed in their seats.
"But, whatever." she waved her fork like a fairy would her wand. "My biggest gripe right now, is my dating life. It's already hard with the hours I work, but dating scene is no cake either."
"Oh, yeah? You would think that it would be easier with all the dating apps and such, right?" Chris mussed, taking a bite of his juicy burger. He was out of the dating world for so long, even before he got with Leon. Chris only knew about the apps, because Leon kept him in the loop. His husband loved to watch or read all the dating stories. From the cute ones to the controversial ones, that sparked debates in the comments of the internet. He loved his gossipy husband very much.
"You would think so, right?" Rebecca agreed enthusiastically. "But getting through the ocean of bad photos and even worse descriptions is tedious enough. When I finally find someone worth going out with, they either show their true colors or are too intimidated by me." she sighed again, clearly exhausted by her dating life.
"I miss sex." she remarked before she dove into her meal, while Chris was fighting for his life, trying no to choke on the bite of his burger. Chris wasn't a prude, he could definitely have a normal conversation about sex, but considering that he treated his friends like his family, he didn't really want to hear about his families sex lives.
Jill snickered at him, taking pleasure in his discomfort.
"You two got so lucky, I'm jealous." Rebecca's voice sliced the silence, that fell upon them.
"Obviously." Jill smirked, while Chris asked. "How, so?"
Both women looked at him, their enormous friend sitting there with baffled expression, reminding them both of lost sheep more so than ever before. So clueless.
"I wouldn't mind getting my own beefcake to hang my eye on." Rebecca's face got that dreamy look, before it switched to more accusatory one. "You both could've shared a wish with me when you found a jinn lamp."
"I'm intrigued. Tell us more." Jill sat more comfortable in the booth, her arms crossing under her chest. She was really curious what her dear friend thought of her partner. "Maybe, then, I will share a secret how to get one for yourself." she winked at Rebecca, trying to encourage her to spilling her guts.
"I mean, look at Leon and Carlos: younger, hot, so well-toned that they could model for the medical text-books." Rebecca started listing qualities of both men on her fingers. "Flirty, so loyal and devoted, with kind souls and hearts of gold. Not afraid of throwing themselves in danger in the name of innocent. Sometimes a little arrogant, but with good heads on their shoulders. Who wouldn't like that?"
"Huh." Both, Jill and Chris, murmured, only now realizing how similar their taste in men were.
"Looking at the data, I wondered if you both wished for the same thing under the star." Rebecca shrugged her shoulders, as if she just didn't drop a bombshell on her friends.
Silence fell upon their table, only broken with the scrapping of Rebecca's utensils. A tiny smirk slipped upon her face, as she revealed in the chaos she caused. There weren't that many opportunities to mess with her friends. She thought that because of her delicate face and sweet disposition, they frequently forgot that she could be a firecracker. She was forged from the same fire as they were, and she would remind them of it from time to time.
In that short pause in their conversation, Jill couldn't help herself, and 'what-if' scenario flew through her head. If something went differently in her life, could she have ended up with Leon instead of Carlos? She couldn't get Rebecca's words out of her head, pointing out their similarities, but she couldn't see it. Leon was like her annoying younger brother.
On the other hand, she was also annoyed with Carlos at the beginning of their obligatory partnership. However, he had that unrelenting charm that win her over. And she wouldn't change that for the world.
Jill took a look, with the corner of her eye, at Chris. Poor man, it looked like all the blood left his face, leaving him as white as the wall behind him. He probably had the same thoughts going through his head, as she had and probably came to the same conclusion. That state of things was the best as it was currently. No need to play with 'what-if's because they weren't as appealing as the reality.
Jill redirected her gaze to Rebecca, who sat there, too smug in Jill's opinion.
This is how you wanna play? Okay, game on.
"I could tell you the secret of getting such a sweet prize..." Jill smirked at Rebecca, hoping that she got the interest of the younger woman, "... but I think you would like something with more tattoos and bad boy vibe going on..." she wiggled her brows, before she took a bite of her sandwich.
Chris only sat there, wondering when the conversation veered into that direction, helplessly shrugging his arms and focusing on his meal, while two women next to him fired friendly jabs at each other.

Leon needs to thank Sherry for pulling some strings on his behalf.
After finishing his mission in Macedonia, he decided to take a short trip to Romania, to surprise his husband. He hopped on the first commercial flight available. He was very eager to see Chris.
They spent last two months missing each other. Chris was busy with relocating Winters couple to the new safe-house and Leon had no time to spare with DSO sending him from one part of the world to the other. Leon doesn't remember the last time his passport was so heavily used.
Which grinds on his gears, because he would rather spend his free time in the embrace of his husband, than fighting another mad scientist convinced of his greatness in improving human race. Same grandiose delusions, different scientist.
Throughout their relationship, they'd spent half of their time away from each other due to the specification of their work. But this time their separation was especially hard on them, because they were barley a year into their marriage. Not even, actually. Their first anniversary will be next month. If they make it that far. Leon would love to able to enjoy his honeymoon faze of his marriage, but his and Chris' work always threw a wrench into their plans.
That's why, Leon said 'fuck it' and decide to visit Chris. He will spend next three, full days with his husband no matter what. Even if he has to slaughter half of a city's worth of zombies.
His private chauffeur provided by BSAA (and clever manipulation by Sherry) stops in front of small house, hoards of different agents hard at work hard on setting the building up for it's new residents.
Leon steps out from the car and puts on the sunglasses, the intense sunlight breaking through the fluffy clouds of the blue sky. He takes in his surrounding, admiring the flora of the Romanian country side. It's cute. But this is not what he is here for.
One of the agents must have recognize him, because the man has no problems addressing him. "Hello, Agent Kennedy. If you're looking for Captain Redfield, you will find him at the back of the house, in the garden."
"Thanks" Leon replies. One thing less to worry about.
He makes his way around the house, stepping behind the fencing and situating himself in the corner of the garden, under the shade of sprawling tree, to have a good vantage point to look for Chris.
He doesn't need to look for long. He finds him at the opposite side of the yard, smiling and talking to a man Leon doesn't recognize.
And it sours Leon's mood.
Because he was expecting a happy reunion with his dear husband, but it seems that he will have to establish a claim over his man.
There is one thing about Chris that is Leon's blessing and a curse.
Chris has a very specific type.
Lean bodies, slightly muscular. Men that are brave, inteligent, resilient, capable of holding their own in a fight, stubborn and witty.
And blond.
Chris loves his blonds.
Chris almost automatically notices any blond man in his vicinity. His attraction to blonds is like a magnetic pull. It probably started early on in his teenager years, but it definitely solidified with Albert Wesker.
His husband had confessed to Leon, that he had had crush on his captain during his S.T.A.R.S. days. That he admired his strict disposition, sometimes broken by a witty comment and barely there smirk. That Chris had been in awe of how elegantly and swiftly Wesker moved in combat, handling the handgun with precision and steady accuracy.
The more Leon listened to his husband, then boyfriend, the more parallels he could see between himself and Wesker. It brought some uncomfortable feelings in Leon, realizing that he shared some similarities with super-villain well known in the bio-terrorism circles.
But it helped understanding Chris' preferences.
Jill and Claire liked to make jokes at his expanse that he should keep Chris on tight leash, otherwise he might fall for the first blond he sees.
He'd always disregard them, but looking at the situation in front of him, there might be some truth in all that jokes.
Leon thinks that the distance between two men is not big enough. And he really does not appreciate that hand resting on Chris' bicep.
Leon measures his opponent. The man cannot be taller than 5'11, so he's exactly the same height as Leon. Casual wear probably hides some muscle. He can't see details of the man's face because the distance is too big, but Leon's sure he can't be bad looking, if Chris is so enthusiastically talking with him.
Leon really doesn't want to admit to himself what he's feeling right now, because it goes against his believes of himself. He was so sure that he would never have to feel insecure in his relationship with Chris. He's a skilled man with years of combat experience that shaped his body. He takes a good care of his hair and face and he's sure that he can be stylish, even with the standard-issued tactical gear.
So why does he compares himself to this average looking man? Better question yet, why does he feel inadequate?
His musings are interrupted as Leon senses a presence next to him and stands up straighter.
"I wouldn't worry about it." woman's voice pulls his attention to her.
Leon takes a look from behind his glasses at woman next to him.
She's a head smaller than him, her free-falling, black hair are highly contrasting with her pale skin and her right hand adorned with gold ring is resting calmly on her pregnant belly. Her blue eyes are starring at the same scene that Leon was a minute ago.
"Even though from here, it looks at more than friendly encounter, I know my husband's feelings." she alludes to the man standing next to Chris.
Her words should put Leon at ease. But they have a completely different effect. He feels unsettled. Like she has an upper hand in this exchange. Like she knows more than she lets on.
"Don't you know your husband's?" she tilts her head in his direction, her blue eyes coldly assessing him. "Wouldn't take you for the jealous type. But everyone is wrong from time to time."
Shiver runs down Leon's spine. He's surprised that this seemingly gentle woman poses as a threat in his head. She definitely knows more about him and Leon doesn't like that. It feels like the ground is slipping from underneath him. Her knowledge is her advantage and Leon doesn't know how to level their playing field.
Before he can say anything, she turns towards the house and leaves him with "Nice to meet you, Leon S. Kennedy."
Leon stares at her back, trying to subside the creepy feeling settling in his gut.
This is not what he expected, when he got to Romania.
Creepy women aside, Leon still has to swallow his jealousy and go get his man. Because he deserves some respite with his husband. And he will get it!
Leon makes his way across the garden, trying not to bring any attention to himself. The surprise element is still important in catching Chris of guard. So he sneaks behind him, expertly maneuvering as to not alert the other man that stands next to Chris.
When he finally is close enough, Leon asks. "What does a guy has to do to get a kiss?"
"Leon!" Chris exclaims enthusiastically as he turns in his direction. He doesn't hesitate embracing his husband and picking him up to twirl him in the air. Before Leon can catch his breath, thrilled at Chris' attention being fully on him, he is smothered in kisses, last one landing on his lips and taking away air from his lungs. Yes, this is more what Leon hoped to be the reaction at his unexpected appearance.
"Hey handsome, happy to see me?" Leon asks, after Chris lets him stand on his own two feet. He puts his sunglasses on the top of his head, making sure they won't bother him.
"Immensely." Chris smiles at him and caresses his stubbled cheek.
"Such a big words coming from you. Have been taking all your vitamins, huh?" Leon jokes. His husband is an inteligent man, but sometimes his straightforwardness is taken as a sign of lack of wit. Chris allows for jokes like that between them, because they both know how ridiculous they are.
"Shut up." And to make sure Leon's quiet, Chris silences him with another kiss. It seems that Chris missed him just as much as Leon did, and his affectionate behavior is the best evidence.
"What are you doing here?" Chris inquires, his hands not leaving Leon for a second. Just travelling from his face, to hair, to shoulders, to arms. Squeezing, caressing, unable to stop touching. Warm feeling of satisfaction makes home in Leon's chest.
"Can't I just want to visit my husband at work?" Leon teases.
"Usually when we meet at work, the hoard of zombies is right at our heels. You're not bringing any with you, are you?" Chris squeezes his hand, his eyes scanning his figure for any new scratches or wounds.
Before Leon can answer, another voice pipes in "Better not, we just got here."
Leon completely forgot about the third wheel standing next to them in his elation at seeing his husband. And now, he also remembers why he was in foul mood just a few minutes ago.
"Right, sorry." Chris says sheepishly, his ears turning pink from embarrassment. "Leon, this is Ethan Winters. Ethan, this Leon S. Kennedy, my husband." he introduces two men.
Ethan doesn't hesitate in extending his right hand for the handshake. Leon doesn't leave the other man hanging and grasps his hand. He might be putting a little bit more pressure into it than necessary, but he can't be blamed for that. The irrational thought that the man in front of him can be his competition is still swirling in his head.
"Good to finally put the face to the name." Ethan says in a friendly tone.
"Likewise." Leon responses.
Chris talked a lot about the Winters after the Baker incident. Chris has clearly been impressed by Ethan's resilience and even wanted to invite the couple to their weeding, but wasn't allowed due to BSAA keeping watchful eyes on their new subjects.
"So new house, huh?" Leon tries to keep the conversation going, not wanting to leave space for awkward silence.
"Let's hope we can stick with this one for longer than three months. All this moving is not good for Mia." Ethan explains, playing with his wedding ring.
Mia must be the woman Leon met earlier. He hopes that he won't have to encounter that woman again.
"Told you that we have good leads and we're close to cracking your case. Soon enough you'll be able to fully enjoy fatherhood." Chris claps Ethan on his back in reassurance. Leon definitely doesn't like that his husband's hands somehow made their way to the other man.
"Let's hope." Ethan sighs.
"Ethan, can you come here and help me?" Mia yells from her spot on the back porch. Leon is very thankful for her intervention. He doesn't know how long he would have kept friendly facade. Ethan seems like a good enough guy and maybe he would like him, but right now, his feelings of jealousy are robbing him of any courtesy.
"Sorry for cutting it short, but I'm needed somewhere else." Ethan smiles apologetically. "And you know, happy wife, happy life!"
"More like happy spouse, happy house!" Chris says to Ethan's retreating back. When he looks at Leon, he asks "What?"
"Nothing. Is there a more secluded place?" Leon hopes that there is place somewhere that doesn't swarm with BSAA agents.
"Come." Chris takes him by his hand and drags him away, in the direction of the barn, located the farthest from the main house.
"You always find the most romantic of places" Leon remarks sarcastically as they step inside and Chris closes the doors behind them.
He takes a look around, noticing that the space has been converted from it's 'true' purpose into a garage. There is a lot of a machinery and not enough of flat space for what Leon has in mind. Wall will have to do.
His inspection is interrupted when Chris' arms envelope him from behind. He can feel his husband's nose tracing his way up his neck, just before Chris places soft kiss under Leon's ear.
"I missed you." Chris whispers and Leon shivers from the hot air brushing the shell of his ear.
"I missed you more." Leon teases, wishing that Chris' hands would slide under his compression shirt, so he could feel their warmth directly on his skin.
"Clearly." Chris says without hesitation, changing their position, so now they face each other. There is mischievous glint in Chris' blue eyes as he slides Leon's hair behind his ears, knocking his sunglasses to the ground, to have a better look at his face.
"Otherwise you wouldn't guard me like a fucking dog." He whispers, getting closer to Leon's face with every word, finishing it with a nip to a dimple on Leon's chin, their stubbles scratching against one another.
Leon eyes widen in surprise and his mind stops him in his tracks, trying to understand what Chris is implying, while the other man works on unzipping his pants to put his hands around Leon's firm ass.
"You think I didn't see how you approached Ethan?" Chris leaves small kisses all around Leon's face, while his hands roam under his belt.
"How you measured him up, as he would be a threat?" he sucked at the skin in the junction of Leon's neck and shoulder, moving the material of the shirt to reach that spot.
"Like he was your competition?" Chris does something to Leon's pants, taking advantage of distracting his husband. Before he knows it, Leon his naked from waist down, his thighs wrapped around Chris' hips and his back slammed on the wall near the barn's door.
Leon tries to catch his breath from the quickness of the events, but is denied it, with Chris smashing their lips together in deep and passionate kiss. Leon has no other option, than to wrap his arms around his husbands massive shoulders, tangling his fingers in his short hair and enjoying the desire running down his spine.
He loves being manhandled by Chris. Leon is not a small man, so it turns him on immensely, when Chris, his sweet, tender, built-like-a-brick-house husband, picks him up like he weights nothing and does to him whatever he desires. Either to bent him over the nearest flat surface and fill him with his thick, rock-hard cock or lifts him up, Leon's knees in the crooks of his elbow, stuffing him to the brim, using Leon like his own personal cock-sleeve. Either way, Leon is always satisfied.
"Baby, you thought I wouldn't notice jealousy dripping from you?" Chris says as they catch their breaths after intense make-out session.
"I love it, when you get like that. All territorial and possessive." Leon can feel one of his husband's hands squeezing his ass cheek, while the other travels to his dick and squeezes the hard length at the base.
Chris slides his body closer to Leon, pushing him harder into the wooden wall. Leon can also finally feel Chris' cock, rubbing next to his, only the material of Chris's pants separating them from each other.
Leon can't help himself and whimpers at the friction, too turned on by the dirty talk to speak himself. He's at Chris' mercy and loves every single moment of it.
"Was it because Ethan's blond? Chris distracts him with the bite to his pec over the shirt. He doesn't even notice that the hand that was playing with his cock disappeared. Even the click of the lube bottle, goes over his head, when Chris sucks at his nipple, ripping moan from his throat. Leon is very glad right about now, that the barn is nowhere near close to the house. He can't be bothered to be quiet. Not now, when he finally has his husband's attention completely focused on him.
"Why would I want somebody else, when I have such a beautiful prize?" Chris smirks at him, just as he feels two wet fingers probing at his rim.
Leon chokes on his breath, as Chris' fingers slide in, providing delicious friction inside him. His cock weeps from the pleasure, precum dripping down to his balls.
Chris knows exactly what he's doing. His fingers work in a practiced manner, scissoring and stroking just the way Leon loves, sending shocks of ecstasy and desire through his body.
"Should I stuff you full of my hard cock?" Chris teases him, while slipping third finger up his wet hole.
"Yes, please, yes, baby!" Leon almost howl. He's so hot and feels wonderful. Those thick fingers spreading him so good, that sparks travel through his nerves, bliss short circuiting his brain.
"You want it that bad?" he can feel fingers leaving his hole, emptiness there irritating Leon.
"Fuck yes! Fuck me hard!"
"Want to be my cockslut so bad?" He can hear Chris working on his clothes. Next second, he can feel the head of his dick at his own entrance.
"Yes, baby! I just want to be yours!" Leon whimpers, as he feels Chris' thick cock sliding into him, inch after delicious inch. Leon almost drools as Chris sets up a quick pace, none of them having patience for slow love-making. This is going to be fast, hard, raw fuck to satisfy their bodies and reassure them of their devotion towards each other.
Leon feels cock-drunk, his mind hazy with pleasure of his husband fucking him so well, his dick sliding in and out of him in quick and hard thrusts. Chris's gaze is intensely focused on his face, while he bounces Leon against the wall.
Leon can't help himself and moans "You're mine. Only mine!" Feeling of jealousy rearing it's ugly head as Chris rubs his prostate with every thrust.
"Yes, baby, just yours. No one else's!" Chris reassures him, intensity in his blue eyes hammering the point in Leon's head.
"Mine!" Leon growls as climax hits him, his cock dripping between their bodies.
"Yours!" Chris is echoing Leon's sentiment, few more thrusts and Leon is filled with Chris' cum, warmth spreading inside him with every twitch of his husband's glorious dick. Leon loves being stuffed to the brim with Chris' cum. One of the things he lives for. Being Chris' cum dumpster.
Chris leans on him harder, both trying to catch their breaths as the shocks after their orgasms travel through their bodies.
Leon's hands lay limply around Chris' shoulders, while his husband is shifting Leon's sweaty hair from his face. They pepper each other with soft kisses, slowly going down from their climaxes.
"Leon?" Chris breaks the silence between them.
"Hmm?"
"You know that I wouldn't cheat on you, right?" Chris's eyes are full of love, devotion, tenderness but also worry.
"Oh baby, of course, I know!" Leon answers as he scratches softly at Chris' nape. "I think..." he takes a deep breath, "I think that our long separation brought out some unwanted feelings. I just missed you so much." Leon smiles at his husband.
"Good." Chris snuggles into him, his head resting under Leon's chin.
They stay like that for way too long, because Leon's legs start to spasm for being too long around Chris' waist.
Before they separate to clean themselves, Chris murmurs under his nose. "Maybe I should get you jealous more often?"

"Remind me again, why are we doing this?" Carlos yelled over the sound of the mower.
Leon stopped and turned the mower off, to hear better what the other man said from across the backyard. "What?"
"Why are we doing this?" Carlos whined. "Man, my arms are killing me!"
"Wait, so you're telling me, that you can trek through amazon jungle for days, while armed to the teeth, with heavy riffle in your arms, but suddenly, when it comes to hanging some fairy lights in my backyard, you're too weak?" Leon raised his eyebrow at Carlos, calling him on his bullshit.
"Can't even complain a little, suddenly there is complain police right on my ass" Carlos grumbled, dissatisfied with Leon's reaction.
"Nope, complaining privileges have been revoked in your case, due to being instigator of the idea of the barbeque this weekend." Leon came closer to Carlos, leaving mower behind.
"But I can make you a deal." Leon braced his hands on his hips, his jeans riding low around his hipbones. He hoped that the other will take the bait.
"I'm listening..." Carlos turned to him, wiping sweat from his face using the corner of his black t-shirt.
"So, I can hung the lights..." Leon rested his hand on Carlos' shoulder, leaning a little bit in his direction, "... and you can mow a lawn." He smiled charmingly at the same time squeezing the other's shoulder harder than necessary.
"Fuck no. You can take your deal and put it where the sun doesn't shine." Carlos laughed, getting out of Leon's grip and slapping him on his back. "But nice try."
Before they could get into verbal fight, Grace opened the patio doors and stepped out on the deck with Emily and Rose.
"Hey, guys!" she greeted them. "I picked up Rose, like promised." she ruffled the girl's hair. Rose didn't even register that, to busy talking Emily's ear off.
"You guys want some..." Leon tried to ask, but was interrupted.
"Leon, can we go on swings?" Rose asked him, her big blue eyes begging him to agree.
"Sure you can, I already took care of that part of the lawn. Just don't pick the grass, okay?" He tried to be stern, but he knew that if they decided to play in the loose grass, he would be powerless. He would let them play in it, even if it resulted in the green-stained clothes.
"Just leave your bags in the house, okay?" Grace chimmed in.
"Okay" both girls answered enthusiastically and ran into the house to fill out the request.
"Thanks, sweetheart!" Leon thanked Grace, while embracing her into one-sided hug.
"Sweetheart? And why don't I get such a princess treatment?" Carlos teased stepping onto the patio, smirking at Leon. He only said it to get under other man's skin.
"Because you aren't as sweet. And you're an asshole." Leon remarked back, in the last second wincing. He forgot himself and was swiftly reminded of his mistake, when Rose's blonde head popped up, shaking a swear-jar at him. With deep sigh, Leon pulled out a dollar from his pocket and put it into the jar. They had a rule in the house, that adults weren't allowed to swear around children or it would cost them a dollar per cuss word. Rose was well pleased with this, loving collecting the debts. Every time Jake and Sherry would visit, Jake would automatically place fifty bucks in a jar, just to get kids of his back.
Grace only rolled her eyes at two older men, as they started bickering again and sat herself at the table, pouring herself a glass of lemonade.
"So what were you doing?" she looked around, assessing the poor state of the backyard.
"We were in the middle of prep for tomorrow's BBQ. On which you are still coming, right?" Leon leaned on the porch's railing, facing Grace as he talked with her.
"Yes, of course. Emily's already so excited. She was counting down days on her wall calendar." Grace responded, love for the little girl softening her tone. Leon could understand the feeling, having such a response for every of his girls.
Before they could continue, another voice chimed in. "Hi guys, long time no see!" Another blonde woman stepped onto the patio, two young boys hiding behind her.
"Hi Ash." Leon greeted her and moved to her boys. "Hi boys." he high-fived both of them, "if you want, Rose and Emily are already playing on the swings." As soon as they heard that, they moved in the direction pointed, leaving boring adults behind.
"So, what brings you here?" Leon asked as he pulled Ashley into his side, the last one to properly welcome her.
"Had to check on my senior-citizen. If I don't do it, you'll try another one of your stunts, just like last time." She alluded to his not so recent trip to Raccoon City and whole Elpis incident. Leon just rolled his eyes at her, checking her with his hip. She laughed at him and sat next to Grace, the other woman pouring her a glass of refreshing drink.
"So, how's life?" Grace asked Ashley, trying to continue conversation. Despite being the newest addition to their mismatched family, Grace fitted perfectly. She already made friends with most of the women in the group, her shyness slowly chipping away with the onslaught of kindness and understanding from other women. They all went through their own hell and came back stronger for it, so they understood each other and because of their shared experiences could relate and help each other. Grace loved that she had such a big support system now, that she could lean on somebody.
"Same old, same old." Ashley patted her on the hand that rested on the table. "Husband - very loving, kids - very chaotic, as you can see." She pointed at the four kids playing, all their screams and laughter reaching them. "Work at TerraSave as usual, oh, by the way Leon, you can reassure Chris that Claire will be here tomorrow, she was already on route to States as I was leaving the office."
"Will do." Leon reassured her that he would deliver the message.
"And how are you, Grace?" Ashley redirected her question at the other blonde. "Ready for some love in your life?" she teased Grace, as she bumped her shoulder.
"N- No," Grace stuttered, taken aback. She spent her time juggling work, raising Emily and spending time with her new friends. There was no place for romantic partner in her life right now. "I already have too much going on." she shrugged her shoulders.
"That sucks, but I get it." Ashley reassured her. "Dating is hard and especially now, that the best options are out of the market." Here she looked at two men standing in front of them, her gaze mischevious.
"And to what are you alluding to, Ashley?" Carlos asked, after being suspiciously quiet throughout the whole conversation. Just sipping on his lemonade.
"Don't get me wrong, I love my husband dearly, but he is no Jill or Chris." Ashley smirked at them.
"Elaborate." Leon barked out the word, curios but not wanting to let her know how much she piqued his interest with this.
"I mean, you two already hit jackpot with catching yourself such gorgeous silver foxes, am I right?" she bumped Grace's shoulder again, trying to engage other woman to play along with her.
"Ye- Yea- Yeah," Grace stuttered again, trying to get her footing in this game. "They are both older, experienced..." she trailed off, hoping that Ashley would pick up her slack.
And she did, without hesitation. "Definitely experienced..." she wiggled her brows at the men, trying to rail them up "... and so hot with that salt-and-pepper look they have going on."
"And so authoritative!" Grace was proud of herself with coming up with something to add.
"Especially when they look at you with that deadly blue stare, so stern..." Ashley placed her chin in her hand, not taking her eyes from the men, looking at all their reactions.
"Highly skilled in combat..." started Grace.
"... and having a great deal of muscle to show for it..." continued Ashley
"... natural leaders..."
"... that know how to command..." they both started listing the qualities that could be assigned to both Chris and Jill, in the manner as if Ashley and Grace were playing table tennis instead of having a conversation.
"Okay, okay! We get the point!" Carlos yelled over two women, stopping their back-and-forth. "We lucked out."
"Oh, you very much did, when you tapped that." Ashley laughed, high-fiving Grace. "It's just funny that you have so similar tastes in partners. I mean, Leon always had a thing for older, dominant people. Don't be so shocked Leon, I have eyes, I noticed" She teased, sticking her tongue at the blond man. "But you, Oliviera, I didn't expect it from."
Grace was delighted with the exchange, observing the reactions with wide eyes. Leon sat on the chair next to Ashley, in disbelief at being so well perceived. And to think that he rescued her from Los Illuminados, just to now be obliterated with her clever observations. And in his own house!
Carlos seemed not to be handling this too in the best of ways, pacing back-and-forth, restless energy just spilling from him with every eratic move.
"You're not thinking of what-ifs, right?" Carlos asked Leon, his voice unsure.
"Nope. As much as I like Jill, I love Chris's dick better, believe me." Both Ashley and Grace burst out with laughter at Leon's blunt response and Carlos sighed in relief.
"Hey, Jill knows her way around..." Carlos started offend, trying to protect Jill's honor, before he caught himself with what he was saying.
"Are you sure you want to finish that sentence, hmm, Oliviera?" Leon cocked an eyebrow at his friend.
"Yeah, nope. Not going that road." Carlos backpedaled, his cheeks getting red under his beard.
"Leon, can we have something sweet?" Rose asked him, as she climbed on his lap, all the rest of the children surrounding the table.
"Rose, baby, you can have whatever you want, because you just rescued me from this weird conversation." he hugged her and placed a kiss on her forehead. "Your aunts Ashley and Grace are mean to me." he complained to his sweet baby girl. She frowned at them, putting her full might behind famous Redfield stare she copied from Chris.
Both Grace and Ashley tried to hold in their laughter at Leon being protected by a little girl, while he enjoyed the attention of his small savior.
Leon picked up Rose and situated her on his hip as he reached with his other hand to Emily. "C'mon Carlos, take boys, I think we still have ice cream in the freezer."
"Can we get the sprinkles?" Rose asked hopefully.
"Mhm, we just need to find them." Leon answered, disappearing behind the door, sticking his tongue to both women still sitting on the patio.
Ashley and Grace couldn't help themselves and burst out, cackling with laughter at the antics of both men. They weren't so entertained in long time.
