Moodboards for different kinds of deer! I don't see a lot of diverse content for them, and since I love making these, I decided to provide ⋆˚꩜｡𖤓

They're based on the esthetics I associate with the specific species the most ♡

Marsh Deer Blastocerus dichotomus

Formerly found in much of tropical and subtropical South America, today it is largely reduced to isolated populations at marsh and lagoon zones in the Paraná, Paraguay, Araguaia and Guapore river basins. They are swift swimmers. The marshes with their high vegetation density protect them from predators and provide them with food. The majority of their diet is aquatic plants.

Black legged friends!

Do you ever realize you haven't thought about your favourite characters in a while and think "i've abandoned my guy"? I think there's a tumblr post about that. Anyways, this happens to me but with my favourite animals, in this case the maned wolf <3. I decided i wanted to draw one, but it just felt empty, so i remembered i wanted to make a sequel to my illustration of the snow leopard and the Andean cat, and said "hey, i've drawn a maned wolf with the similar marsh deer before! i should do it with them", so here :]

Talk is cheap, but there's going to be a third drawing with this concept, since i wanted to make a three-part series after i finished the snow leopard and Andean cat one. This series is titled Similitudes (similarities). I already got the species for the final part, wahoo!

So I drew my Gacha Oc because Gacha does NNNOT do her justice! Also, I wanted an excuse to draw Leopard print and look at pretty Gyaru clothes:>>

This is Josie!

She's a Goat Faun + Marsh Deer hybrid, she loves everything Gyaru and Y2K/2000s! She's in highschool, and is supposed to LOOK like a mean girl, but she's like one of the nicest girls ever!

It's my first time drawing her actually, I've always just kept her in my extra slots, just like.. there.

It's supposed to be like a "Get ready with me/getting ready for the day!" type of pic, honestly I was making it up as I went along, all I was doing was Justice cause GL2 is uhh *let's just say it needs work.* And my girl Josie can't be properly represented 😤😤 (⁠~⁠_⁠~⁠メ⁠)

I LLOVE Gyaru aesthetic and fashion, it's so prettyyyy, like i showed (or think showed) my oc Tomie. I'm not sure what specific subtype Josie is but I think it's mostly Agejo inspired, with most of it being the type of Gyaru you'd see when Googling Gyaru ocs.

Annywho there's nothing much to say, so here's some WIPs of when I was drawing her! I also have a migraine so I'm uhh- I'm gonna just chill
