Another from Wednesday's snow day adventure. Martha-Mary Chapel is another of the buildings in the Wayside Historic District, built by Henry Ford and named after his mother and mother-in-law. It sits alone atop a hill just down the road from the grist mill. Off to the side is an old one-room schoolhouse that Ford believed to be the schoolhouse cited in "Mary Had a Little Lamb", but there's no historical evidence to back that up. I arrived here just as the sun was trying to break through a bit- the clouds eventually won- and managed to capture this soft warm glow as the sun filtered through the clouds.
