Always thought Margaret's 'husband' in dreams has like Donald's physic, Hawkeye's hair and BJ's mustache.
Erm attention all personnel
I’ve been trying to collect all the songs featured in MASH, and then some
This is what I’ve gathered so far. My one issue is that I’d like to find and add the songs that were played in Korean (and often Japanese as well) but as far as I can tell, they don’t exist.
Does anyone know where these songs might be? In the movie and show, they played songs like Chattanooga Choo Choo & My Blue Heaven in either Korean or Japanese.
Not sure how to frame it but a fic where BJ realises Hawkeye has Tuttled him with Trapper. Imaginary friend Trapper was a way for Hawkeye to get through the war then BJ arrived and Trapper 'left'. Hawkeye still talks about him though because dropping the lie would make him seem crazy and it's not like it will effect anyone.
BJ jealous of imaginary friend, even after the imaginary part is revealed.
Trapper becomes real.
Hawkeye pretty sure he's losing his mind when Trapper does show up, but BJ sees him too.
Hawkeye and Trapper: two mirrors reflecting into infinity until you can't see either anymore.
Hawkeye and Henry: the overworked under paid college dean and depressed class clown start drinking at the same bar.
Hawkeye and Margaret: they hate each other's masks so much that all they can do is rip them off and be themselves.
Hawkeye and Radar: what if your inner child saw all the bullshit you got up to and still loved you anyway?
Hawkeye and Klinger: a pair of caged birds trying to pick the lock.
Hawkeye and Charles: Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92 / Entrance of the Gladiators Mashup. Beautiful music was made anyway.
Hawkeye and Potter: the soldier that became a doctor and the doctor that became a soldier. The man you never were and the man you'll never be in thirty years meeting somewhere in the middle and shaking hands.
Hawkeye and Frank: American, American't, American-can can you do the can-can?
Hawkeye and Father Mulcahy: God's smile looks something like a punchline.
Hawkeye and BJ: two mirrors facing opposite directions with their backs glued together.
Mash fans can really post the most random things and somehow the same ten people come running to like/reblog.
Oh and 7 times out of 10, it has something to do with father Francis Mulcahy and his relationship with Hawkeye.

‘See, this is why your wives left you,’ was on the tip of his tongue in situations like this. He didn’t say it. It was over the line. Besides, he didn’t even have a wife and kid to lose and he was here too. Still, he was sure it would burst out of him one day at the worst possible moment.
Hawkeye moved to California to see BJ through his divorce and Trapper through his divorce's aftermath. Living together and working together seemed like a good solution to keep his eye on the two of them. Sure they argued all the time, he had worked more than two weeks without a break, and hadn't had the time to find a new shrink. Sure he was tired, but he wasn't Korea tired. He was fine.
He'd take care of them, and then they'd be fine too.
