the pause
how long will this last?
the greatest stories do not begin with a pause but my pen is hovering over paper ready to write a new arc and it tells me that this pause is ready to birth something new something i have never done before something i will not see coming something and everything in between and i hope that amidst all the life that is happening to me i remember this pause a place where i have learnt to breathe to prepare to grow eager a pause may not last but it never signifies an end only the beginning
of the rest of your life

B-24J The Butcher's Daughter by TK622 Via Flickr: B-24J S/N 44-40190 of the 319th Bomb Squad, 90th Bomb Group, 5th Air Force On 15 May 1945 the aircraft exploded roughly 5 1/2 minutes after take-off on a mission to Formosa. A flooded fuel tank filled the bomb bay with fuel, which was ignited by an unknown source. The sole survivor was S/Sgt. Donald C. Ruff who was rescued from the crash site by a PT boat. The pilot of the final flight was Lt. Roy D. Breedlove. By the looks of it, the photo was developed from a water damaged negative/film.
