So in the Curse of Strahd campaign I'm playing Masque got hit with a moonbeam spell and failed his saves. And so as flavor, my DM described the mask being revealed showing Finn crying underneath as it was trying to grow and take over his face.

There will likely be a part 2 where, at the last session, Masque handed his sister over to Strahd, the mask grew further over his face as he lost more of himself to the Sphinx.

The Red Death/Masque is my first creepypasta oc I’ve ever made. I don’t remember much of their original lore, but they’ve gotten a whole revamp in my mind.

They’re based off of the poem by Edgar Allen Poe (Masque of the Red Death) and were once a regular person. Yet after coming into contact with a cursed mask, they’ve since become a host for a plague based entity called the Red Death.

Masque, as they’re called due to the fact they are very old by this point and don’t remember their old name, is the head proxy of the Eidolon. Picked perfectly for their delightful aesthetic and skill.
