It’s N7 day! hurrah.
To celebrate I posted a little fic I wrote (that I’d wanted to post last year and didn’t.) It’s got a bit of whimsy to it but I hope folks enjoy.
Have a safe one this N7 Day. I know a lot of folks (myself definitely included) are still reeling after yesterday. I hope this helps to entertain and perhaps ease some hurts. Have a good one yall!

Think you could do Liara,Vetra Meeting a Human/Krogan hybrid (looks like the armoured titan from AOT) for the first time after it saved them from being attacked by a powerful monster.
Reacting to a human-krogan hybrid (Mass Effect)
Vetra
“Oh the Salarians must be pissing themselves knowing you exist.” Getting rescued is appreciated but the second the fight is over it’s the first thing out of Vetra’s mouth. A human - the single most “hold my beer” race in existence - combined with a krogan - the single most “watch this” race in existence. Salarians and those with common sense everywhere quake in fear.
The krogans and humans are stoked, she imagines.
She tries not to pry too much into it. After all, the first successful hybrid between krogans and humans likely has face enough questioning in the past. Still every now and again a question will arise. It’s hard not to be curious.
“Want to spar?”
Liara
Awe-stricken. A massive being - that is completely unidentifiable by any conventional means she knows of - just decimated a giant monster and is now. Talking. To her. As if this was another Tuesday in their busy, busy week. She has so many questions.
“Krogan? Guess that makes us fellow krogan hybrids!” Liara is one to see the brighter side of things which does help win over this new person, but there is a deeper understanding at play here. Asari are, for lack of better terms, puritanical assholes who believe in “pure-bloods” (ew). Quarter-Krogan or not, it matters little to the Asari - a quarter is enough to be considered an outsider.
This person being half-human, half-krogan, is an outsider of two worlds. Why not be outsiders together, rather force each other away?
