Master Phant: We are not friends with him We're co-workers, colleagues at best.
Master Swoop: Trust us. We don't like him anymore than any of you do.
Lily: THEN HELP US GET RID OF HIM!
Master Phant: No need. I think Master Rilla and Master Lope are about to toss him out the window.
Master Swoop: Sounds like Master Guin spin kicked him out of the window instead.
Lily:... *sighs* You know what? Fine. That works for me.
Absolutely criminal we never got any scenes of Fran interacting with the masters. We were robbed of a scene of Fran with Master Finn in his first episode where Finn vaguely hints at RJ being a disappointment and Fran, at this point not knowing about any of the magic stuff, forgets about being shy and nervous and pointedly says "Sir I know you're RJ's dad but You Are Absolutely Wrong, let me list all of the ways."

It got me thinking behind their names and what it means with their animal spirits.
Master Finn has the name Finn due to developing the spirit of the shark. Sharks have fins like fish do and also swim in water. "Finn" comes from the Gaelic word of "fionn", meaning fair or white (please fact check me if I get this wrong).
Master Phant has the name Phant due to developing the spirit of the elephant. The name behind it means "to show" of the Greek root words. Maybe the writers cut out "ele"?? 🤷🏾♀️
Master Swoop, as far as I know, has the name Swoop due to the spirit of the bat. Bats and birds swoop as they have wings.
Can a coincidence on why I'm making this post. In my opinion, I wish the Spirit Rangers could've developed more screentime on TV.
Master Swoop could have been that guy that told off Master Finn, but he cared about RJ too much to break his professionalism and, he's far too classy to lower himself to Master Finn's level.
