To this day, I still believe that Dino (winner of the eight season of Masterchef US) invented an entire personality about being an eccentric Italian from Brooklyn. I loved him, really, but that guy seemed so fake lol I don't know how to explain it, and perhaps I'm wrong but I can't shake the idea that he decided to create a new personality for the show to get everyone's attention.
