001 Bottle Opener is a minimal bottle opener created in collaboration between anonymous artists and Material Lust for Orphan Work. Orphan Work is founded on the concept of adopting work from anonymous artists. Because of its anonymous nature, Orphan Work calls for attention to remain fixed on an exploration of materials—and the pieces themselves—rather than the technicalities of where, why and by whom they were conceived. Each piece is meticulously handmade by a family of master artisans. The 001 Bottle Opener is constructed of solid steel.
