The scene between Mr Eko and Henry/Ben is so funny in hindsight because I choose to believe Ben is just extremely confused

Like he's been tortured and locked away by these people and is completely prepared to keep playing the role of Henry and to not give in no matter what kind of pain or suffering they inflict on him - then suddenly this man mountain walks in with a face like he's going to murder him - then sits down and is like 'hey I don't care if you're lying or not. I killed a couple of guys in the forest and I feel super bad about it. I'm sorry, are we cool?'

And Ben is just stares at him like '...............okay, sure" because I GUARANTEE that he didn't account for that in any of his hypothetical scenarios for how this mission was going to go

Dear Mrs. Nelson:

This will acknowledge receipt of your recent request for maternity leave of absence, effective April 8, 1971.

In accordance with the policy on maternity leave of absence, it will be necessary that you resign your position with the Cleveland Public Schools insofar as you have not had one continuous year of service. The date of your resignation should be March 26, 1971, in accordance with the Administrative Code requiring a pregnant teacher to leave her position at the end of the fourth month of pregnancy (five months prior to the expected date of birth of the child). According to your physician, the expected date of birth of your child is August 26, 1971. Five months prior to that date is March 26, 1971.

Please find enclosed a resignation form for your convenience. It will be appreciated if you sign and return this form to this office at your earliest convenience.

Dozens of workers are suing Meta over claims it used AI to identify workers for mass layoffs, with those taking disability or maternity leave disproportionately targeted.

The lawsuit, filed in California on Monday on behalf of 26 employees, alleges that a “constellation of internal artificial intelligence systems” was used to sack people by looking at their keystroke and activity monitoring data.

“Meta did not assemble the termination list through the considered judgment of managers who knew the work,” it reads.
